Hey there guys and gals, thought I'd scribble down a little update to keep you informed on what we're doing! As many of you know, the downtown plaza show was announced as our last performance for a while. This is true. The Alligator said we were going on "hiatus" and I'm sure tons of other things were whispered and rumors spread. It will definitely be a little while before we take the stage again, but with that we're taking time to write new material, and just come back refreshed on everything. I just want to say a major major thank you to everyone that came out the other night and showed love. You guys have kept us going since the beginning and supported us for our entire run so far. Keep an eye and ear out for shows after summer, new tunes, and the same silly faces you've seen on stage so many times. YOU ALL ROCK! Much love to everyone!

Sent it off for pressing today! Just in time for the CD release show! The album is called "Run While You Can!" We'll be selling em' for 10 bucks, and it should be on itunes shortly after the release show. A lot of work went into this thing, a lot of waiting, a lot of ideas created and shot down, and a lot of last minute stress. I can't wait to hold the finished product in my hands, and have it available for everyone. Not to get all sappy, but it's really cool to finally have something legit like this. You guys have supported the crap out of us and in all truth it really wouldn't have been possible without all the love and devotion we get from Gainesville. Keep an ear out for some new songs to follow the album, maybe buttons, who knows! Much love to everyone!

What's up guys and gals? Tony here. So it's the second day in the studio, and things are going pretty smoooooth. Drums, bass and guitar are done, and the crew is laying down some horns as I type. Derron is doing a killer job running the controls and I think once everything is said and done you guys will enjoy it! We're doing 11 tracks and should be done Thursday. After that we'll have everything mastered and pressed and it should be ready to go in your stereo super soon! I'll post another blog before we're done with another update!

Hey everyone, Tones here. Sooooo we're FINALLY recording our full length that we were planning on having out in.. uh..... March I think?!?! Hehe oops. Anyway, January 5th we'll be going into Crescendo Studios and recording with Derron Nuhfer, who does AMAZING work. As soon as that's all said and done it'll be sent off for pressing and we'll have some crazy CD release show or something. Yup yup. So for now hold tight and check out the show on the 9th!

Hey everyone, Tony here. So I've been asked a lot recently when our "last show" is going to be. Apparently there is a rumor that we are breaking up. Just to clarify, none of this is true. YES we did change some members, but which ska band hasn't? The new line up is going strong and we're currently scheduling dates to finally record a freaking CD. Sorry we've been slacking for so long. Skalloween is on the way, a show with The Toasters in November, and who knows after that!! Just wanted to clarify for those of you who were curious.

Additionally, thanks to everyone who checked us out at The Real Big Deal Fest. You guys had the craziest circle going around the sound booth and it totally made my day. You guys rock way harder than we do. If you got any pictures, send us the link!

Hey everyone, Tony here. So those of you that follow us most likely know about the recent departure of Will and Hunter. I briefly said a few words at our show with Mustard Plug regarding this, but figured I'd say a few more. It has been an absolute honor making music with these kids. Both are extremely talented and I hope their future band mates can appreciate them they way we all did. Will is heading off to Brazil for foreign exchange, and Hunter will be going off to Indiana to further his status as a badass in the saxophone world. We're going to miss the hell out of them, and we wish em both safe travels and fun times.

With the leaving of old members, we bring a new one in. Our good buddy Justin McKenzie will be taking over on guitar. It's a wonderful thing when band members have a certain chemistry, and this kid fit right in. Welcome to the band dude!

As far as our horn section goes, Neil will be switching to tenor sax and Blaine and Zach will keep holding down the fort on trumpet and trombone.

Will and Hunter, so much love to you guys! And Justin, I'm looking forward to shows with you dude!

And to everyone that read this, thanks for making Chupaskabra what it is today, and hit us back with some love for those both leaving and entering the band.
