Mathias BRADLER (Duesseldorf/ Germany), Patrick Keuthen and Robert Glaser aka DUALTON (Cologne/ Germany) met in 2007 in a Club in Duesseldorf, where Dualton played as DJs. Mathias liked what he heard and contacted Patrick and Robert. After a short periode of time Mathias signed Dualton for his label Restart Rec. That was the kick-off of a very productive time and also the beginning of a great friendship between the guys.
Now Bradler & Dualton have released Original productions on famous labels like Bedrock, Rompecabeza, Twisted Frequency and Eisfach Schallplatten and have also signed tunes to Dieb Audio, Flow Vinyl, Epsilon Trax and Anthony Pappa..s rising label Red Light District, where Diebchild and Erphun remixed their track „Glow“.
They have also put out remixes on top labels like Global Underground, BluFin and Elite Rec. and have finished remixes for Ohral Rec., a brand new german label and Mathias..s Restart Rec., where they remixed Mario Zar..s massive tune „Dirty“.
Beside their co-laboration both acts have other projects running. Mathias Bradler is still working as a lawyer and gained the respect of the electronic music scene as one half of the massively successful production-duo Mashtronic and as owner and A&R of the labels Mashtronic Rec. and Restart Rec.. As a DJ he travelled the world and is still part of the legendary GU-World-Tour roster.
Dualton celebrated releases on labels like Save Room Rec., Force Sense and Restart Rec., only to name a few.
 
Definitely:
Dualton enter the tech house dubby world with a monotonic track filled with hypnotic percussive patterns and delays fx slowly building up into a stab melody in the break. A very smooth and dubby dj tool.

Red Asian Bag - Original
A bass evolving track where the bells hypnotic melody and the vocal sample just keep on playing along creating a mesmerizing deep effect.

Red Asian Bag - Pig & Dan Remix
Igor Tchkotoua and Dan Duncan are true workaholics. Not only are the two Mallorquinos forming one of the most exciting techno duos of our time and play in the most famous clubs worldwide, they always make it to pop up in the studio to work on their releases on Sonic Society, Wig Records or like in the case of „Deliverance", the new 12" on Cocoon and deliver one more proof of their competence. Here, they manipulate the original creating a techno tech house crossover bomb, with a fat driving bassline, super percussive and hypnotic rhythmical patterns, building up to  a beautifull piano melody by the break,  and kicking again to the percussive driving rhythmn. Destined to be HUGE.

Das Mathias Bradler auch ohne seinen Mashtronic Partner Cid Inc.geniale Musik produzieren kann ist kein Geheimnis. So war es auch keinWunder, dass mir beim ersten Hören der “Solo EP” gleich mal dieKinnlade herunter gefallen ist, denn das Ergebnis ist perfekteClubmusik.

Der Original Mix lässt schonmal von Beginn an erahnen, dass etwasGroßes im Kommen ist. Wummernde Beats und eine wabelige Bassline zumverlieben bilden die tanzbare Einleitung, kurz darauf kommt auch eineMelodie zum Verlieben durch, die einem nicht mehr so schnell aus demKopf geht. Das sehr trancige Break baut eine neue Melodie auf, währenddie alte im Hintergrund spielt. Beide zusammen ergeben eine perfekteHarmonie. Echt ein super Stück Musik das einmal mehr beweist dasMathias Bradler ein wirklich begabter Produzent ist.

Der Cave Sedem Mix bietet ein cooles Intro und lädt mit diesem zumersten Track eines Sets ein. Im Verlauf kommt klar heraus, dass hierauf die Basics des Originals zurückgegriffen wird und viele neue eigeneSounds dazu kommen. Der Cave Sedem Remix ist ebenfalls eine sehr guteund durchdachte Produktion, die mich zwar nicht zu Begeisterungsstürmenhinreisst, das aber wahrscheinlich auch gar nicht will - Understatementder Extraklasse.

Kornel & Francis haben mit ihrem Mix die clubtauglichste Versionam Start und markieren auch meine Lieblingsversion in diesem starkenPaket. Die Melodie ist gleich dem Original Mix auch sonst sind vieleÜberschneidungen gegeben, trotzdem kann diese Version eigenständigbegeistern. Die orchestralischen Vocals gegen Ende des Tracks sindsicherlich Geschmackssache, ich finde sie sehr passend und eine guteIdee der beiden.

Der Skitish Mix ist der technoidste Remix des Pakets, vergisst abertrotzdem nicht auf gute melodische Aspekte und viele Effekte.Durchgängig klingt “Solo” hier sehr mysteriös und soundmäßig sehr voll.Von Skitish habe ich zwar noch nichts gehört, mit diesem Mix trifft eraber voll ins Schwarze.

Was soll ich noch großartig sagen, außer das dieses Paket keine einzigeSchwachstelle aufweist. Für alle Freunde von guter progressiveClubmusik darf sich eigentlich nur die Frage stellen ob man sich 2,3oder alle 4 Mixe dieser EP kaufen soll.

As one half ofFine Taste, DJ and producer Freek Gueze presents his newest monikerSmartminds. ..The Fix.. is a quality acid tinged electro house workoutfit for the floor with a quality cast of remixers from all corners ofthe globe.

Freek Gueze is a clever producer. The quality in hissounds can be heard just as much as they can be in his music and hisDJing. His edgey sounds and quirky noise bits compliment his perfectgrooves and ..The Fit.. is no exception. The tune starts simply andbuilds around acid and an arped bass makes it funky while 8 bit styledsounds put the electro in the groove. Warm pad stabs set in before thebeats drop out for the peak. A massive build, almost rave build upsurprises out of the pads and pops but never kicks back in in an absurdway. The acid comes back and the groove follows while the 8 bit soundswork out of this effective and infectious dance floor tune.

Mathias Bradler, commonly known as one half of Mashtronic, teams up withDualton, two very talented artists from Cologne. They completely twist..The Fix.. into a minimal hypnotic chugger with a quality groove. Thesound is sparse, letting the bassline work the room with its huge lowend that just seems to keep dropping down further and further. The bitsounds wiggle in and out, cut up and hidden cleverly in the beats whilethe acid sits back and lets the funk do the business. This track issuch a perfect builder that it pains me.

Chicago native Ben Brownhas quickly built a name for himself with his punchy big room electroinfluenced progressive house style. A thicker, more heavy bassaccompanies washy dirty effected synths while the acid sits in thebackground. The new bass, similar to what Prydz may do, is creative andsounds fresh in how he works all the other parts. The synths becometwisted and hypnotic in a big room style. And a massive peak towardsthe end that never seems to end makes this essential for any quality DJ.

AlterBreed from Israel round out the mixes with a stompy disco influencedelectro workout. This is something for techno people as well as heavyhouse fans who like a bit of funk in their sounds. The bass is veryfunky and repetitive while the acid is there and working up and down afew tones. Reminds me of a more subtle ..Musak.. by Trisco from years agobut works with the new sounds presented here.

Not much more to besaid about the quality of the music presented here by Smartminds andMaktub. I..m looking forward to seeing what else the label has in storein the future.
