PAZARI DISKWN KAI CD

Der SACRED BLOOD-Musiker Polydeykis hat ein reines Studioprojekt mit Namen ATHLOS ins Leben gerufen. Bei seinem Album mit dem etwas länglichen Titel »In The Shroud Of Legendry: Hellenic Myths Of Gods And Heroes« haben ihn dabei unter anderem Marios Koutsoukos oder Hildr Valkyrie, die auch bei FOLKEARTH mitwirken, oder sein Ex-SACRED BLOOD-Kollege Athanasios Karapanos unterstützt, doch letzten Endes ist dabei ein Album entstanden, das nicht nur aufgrund der Thematik hauptsächlich für den griechischen Fankreis geeignet ist, denn der "ungriechische Normalhörer" muß schon eine enorme Duldsamkeit für griechische Sprachpassagen und sonstige, eher hörspielartige Parts mitbringen, da diese den reinen Musikanteil deutlich überwiegen. Jener besteht aus verschärftem Power Metal mit Pagan- und Folk-Elementen und relativ grunzigem Gesang.
Stellt sich also nur noch die Frage: Seid Ihr Hellas genug für ATHLOS?

Die Griechen VERDICT DENIED thrashen auf ihrer ersten Platte nach der Umbenennung los wie die Feuerwehr. Dabei haben sie einen großen Vorteil zu bieten: Das energische Riffing erinnert nie zu sehr an einen der großen Thrashstämme wie Bay Area- oder Teutonenthrash. Allerdings müssen die Griechen auch mit einem eindeutigen Nachteil leben: Ihre Songs klingen leider durch die Bank recht ähnlich, so daß auf Dauer ein wenig die Abwechslung fehlt, und die balladeske Hälfte von ›This Soul Of Black Is Mine‹ für »Condamned« schlicht lebensnotwendig ist.

SKULHAMMER-fear the truth.demo cd .2008.

SKULLHAMMER is a ..usa.. thrash metal band.this demo cd consists of 4  solid and well executed thrash metal songs the traditional 80s ....usa.... way.the songs are 1.demons roulette,2.fear the truth(my favourite and very cool  song!)3.polar decimation,4.souls sold long ago.the whole recording is a product of 14 hours in studio in total and that is obvious as you cannot hera fancy sounds ,million of guitar overdubs and supersonic drums BUT all you can find is passion, a three piece mountain of experience( as all three members are veteran musicians in bands such as:ex-lethal fury,chrome shadow,ex-the worst,vile,angelic slugs)there  already a video clip of fear the truth songwhere you can findon myspace and youtube and the guys generally keep it going on on old-metallica,exodus ,testament and LAAZ ROCKIT PATHS.ALL I CAN WISH IS TO BRING INTO LIGHT THEIR DEBUT CD!!!!CONTACT ADRESS:www.myspace.com/skullhammertheband   8,3/10

SAIDIAN-evercircle.official cd 2009.

I think on that heavy metal galaxy there is a little star rising up called SAIDIAN and is getting brighter day by day!!!this is their third cd release that came up on 29 may 2009 and already they have in market phoenic cd(2006) and for those who walk the path forlorn (2005).the band delivers a serious mix of melodic power metal with a few touches of neoclassical hard rock.experienced musicians could hear and understand that the keyboard player is a original founder as he covers smoothly all the back up covering the gaps of the recording plus setting up the compositions so well.the bands has the whole package,great musicians great songs and cool sound engineers.ten very nice tracks including a cover of TOKYO by mighty german band  CRAAFT.SAIDIDIAN  in general gives pleasure with this album to all the fans of EURO METAL  including EDGUY,STRATOVARIUS,HELLOWEEN,GAMMA RAY,HAMMERFALL & FIREWIND!!!! STORMHUNTER-same title. Official cd. 2009,.

STORMHUNTER is a five piece metal band from germany.this is their debut official and selfreleased cd.they deliver seven tracks of raw plus pure epic power a ..la RUNNING WILD.dont.. get me wrong the band is not exactly another copy,the singer has to work on his stuff and propably to make his own style or work on high pitched style a bit. The rest of the band is ok as the guitars are fast and furious plus the solos are quite cool.the band is young and have a lot of guts plus a long way to go so I think they got plenty of time to bring even cool recordings. In general I liked the cd cause there is a lot of passion and attitude on it  ,I really liked songs like:knights of metal(ii),hunting the storm, bitter fate, after the rain. THE HELL CANDIDATES-bring to war.official cd.2007.

THE HELL CANDIDATES is a hard h heavy /metal band from ....Portland.. ,..Oregon.. ..usa.... the land of my favourites bands such as BANGIN MOON AND JESTER’S MOON.

We have to deal with a two member project consisting of mark laskowski on guitar and bass guitar parts and jan Bennett on vocals ,keyboards and lyrics ,the cd has  some session musicians on drums covering perfectly the whole music concept. I mean the band is multi talented , first part of this fourteen tracks cds is a part of four songs in the vein of nwobhm and defying a strong dose of barbaric version of JUDAS PRIEST style,then a great cover of MOTORHEAD’S famous ACE OF SPADES then a hard rock and heavy metal mix of modern and passionately delirium of 9 tracks follows.great stuff ,great music and as the promo sheets informs me a great pyro show follows the band in each live performance.well done!!!!contact address:  http://www.myspace.com/thehellcandidates   8,5/10

HALACH-mictlan.official independent release.2008.

HALACH is a mexican symphonic metal band.this is their first full album attempt consisting of four male members two guitarists ,bass guitar and drums plus a guest female vocalist called  priscila Salinas, as now the band have a new female singer announced on their webpage.the band starts very weak this cd as the musianship is ok on the normal symphonic neoclassical way ,the guitarists are really talented but the production on female vocals on the first three tacks are very monotonus and flat,later on the result is far more better and the band shows some exceptional progressive and some double guitar attacks too plus atmosphere via keyboard arragments !!!i really like the artwork on this 20 pages booklet and I m thrilled of the Aztec mythology as MICTLAN was the underworld which was ruled by his lord and a lady.the musianship is cool ,the skills are obvious and the band certainly has a future.contact address: www.myspace.com/halach   8/10
