holel.i am feeling quite metaphorical today. i watched some ted, the other day, a new favorite way to occupy my mind. you should check it out. it will make you smarter, i promise. just google TED. so anyway, this real smart looking science-tist guy, was explaining our brains. i have an artist brain! i have always wondered. i thought i had a dirty brain for while.hehe...okay, yes he was explaining how artist brains do alot of metaphorical relationship-ness thinking. for example, when i hear music i often think in pictures, forms or colors..this is two different parts of the brain sharing information and relating them. like for me the numer 9 is blue, the number 8 is black the number six is red, one is green, three yellow, high notes are tears low notes are groin...gimmee the bass and the treble, and all the notes in between...this morning i finished two more show applications, i have seven shows targeted starting in march going thru august...i will try and add one more for the monh of june..it is the only month blank now. i am sooo excited for the upcoming shows, i feel a little more seasoned and have some new products!...i will be posting and updatin g my website here soon, so you can see were i'll be...maybe near you!...i am finishing the design work for my valentines day cards..there will only be sixty made...here is the illustration for the card, which will be blank on the inside...done on my gocco with red ink..the finished product will be ready for sale by weds....peace.

hello. friday. sweet friday. i like the word tuesday better, the fun day in my mind would be called tuesday. now if you are on the "normal" work week schedule, today is the end of your "work week"...try to imagine pushing the schedule forward and making tuesday friday, weds./thurs. would be the weekend. i can't do it, my mind is so culturized, that the week is broke up into sections like weekend and work week, and monday..blady blah blah. i like the hopi indian model of time better. there is no beginning and end, no set schedule. time is more in sync with nature and the seasons. it is subtle, only there if you need the illusion of control. i am trying to de-culture myself from this western uptight veiw of space. we are consumed with deadlines and gasping for breath in between on the weekends...mostly. i know that this is a black and white statement, for the most part, our culture does run on the 9-5 model. i try and stay in the adventure, undictated by time. some -times this constructed metaphor of space(time), breaks down, and i am aware of the vastness and interconnected-ness of all. but mostly i am trying to make it to the bank before five. my lessons are learned slow in this life, and all i have is time...here are some gocco prints and o.d.d.o's....****special sale**** today only****just friday(tuesday)***i will do a BOGO(buy one get one free) with the gocco prints***you can buy one and chose one off of etsy(convo me on your other choice, or if you are intimidated by the etsy thing, just message me here and it will be no problem.***** just click on the etsy symbol**............peace and have a good(time)
