Adrenalin Metal Union CD Release Show:
Dissent And Revolt w/ Cwn Annwn and Murder Of Sons
Friday, January 23rd - 10:00 @ The Frequency in Madison
Adrenalin has been around since the mid 90's and promoting metal as much as they can along the way. In 2004 Adrenalin came out with their first compilation, Adrenalin Rush. Now, the time has come to release their 2nd compilation, Adrenalin Rush: Volume 2. The compilation features 18 bands and over an hour of diverse metal all on a professionally replicated CD with killer artwork and shiny shrink-wrap. This show has been set up to officially release the compilation and to showcase two of the bands that are on the compilation.
Headlining the show is Dissent and Revolt (who's song "Servants Erupt" is track 1 on the compilation). Dissent and Revolt (Madison, WI) bring you some experimental hardcore extreme metal. Dissent finds a way to put their unique spin on some real heavy and hardcore beats. Not many bands match the intensity, sheer power and energy of a Dissent set.
Supporting act Cwn Annwn contributes to the compilation with "The Djinn" (track 10). Cwn Annwn (pronounced Coon-uh-NOON) is a melodic thrash band from Minneapolis that brings forth a very powerful presence on stage. They have gotten some good recognition for the very talented female vocals that tap off the sound that they deliver at every live show. But, as you will notice next time you catch them live, the entire band blends together very well in a form that will without a doubt command and attract your attention during their entire performance.
Starting off the show is Murder Of Sons. Murder of Sons is an aggressive all-original heavy metal band based in Appleton Wisconsin. The band is made up of five guys that love all things metal, and creating a musical experience that is just as entertaining as it is brutal. The members of Murder of Sons come from a wide variety of musical backgrounds, each one bringing his own unique perspective to the band.
Come out and check out some great performances. Copies of both Adrenalin compilations will be available there to purchase as well as copies of several issues of the magazine. A 50/50 raffle will also be held with some runner up prizes!

Each member of Adrenalin got a chance to add a couple bands of their choice to the compilation, pretty much guaranteeing diversity. The order of the bands on the compilation was determined by a random drawing. Surprisingly, the end result created a nice flow to the CD. You'll get a taste of death metal, industrial, grind, experimental, and even a 70's rock tune. The bands come from the USA, France, Sweden, Germany, and Australia. Check out the line-up:

Attention Ebayers,
I have an ebay account set up. Right now the username is adrenalin_mike Periodically I sell stuff on their and put all the money I make into the Adrenalin funds. So, I am going to start sending out a bulletin or two everytime I add a CD or whatnot in case you are interested in it. Then you can get something you want and help out Adrenalin at the same time. Sound cool?
Right now I have a movie up there and a drumstick I caught from the drummer of Slipknot at their Pledge Of Allegience tour back on 2001 (when I actually liked them guys more). I figured I see what people were willing to pay for it. I have the ticket stub to go with it in case it makes it any more valuable. I'm going to through more of my other stuff too to see what I can find.
A little side note: Issues number 3 and 4 of Adrenalin were totally funded by stuff I sold on ebay.
