Newly Launched Podcast

A new free podcast called the "Indie Punk Rock Podcast" has launched with the goal of making it easier to find new independent punk rock music.

The podcast is targeting listeners and the media industry with interest in discovering some of the best music by independent punk rock bands.

"Podcasting is very significant for independent music. It has fueled the rise of amateur DJs - like myself - who are helping consumers and media discover music that they might never otherwise have heard of. Podcasting also addresses a new generation of youth - "Generation i" - who don't own radios or CD players, but who own computers and iPods. For this new generation, podcasting is what FM radio has been to past generations", says DJ Indie from the Indie Punk Rock Podcast.

Listeners can play the podcast on the Indie Punk Rock Podcast website or have new podcast episodes automatically delivered to their computer, the moment they are posted to the site. There are options for people at every level.

Option 1: Download the podcast to pc or iPod.
Option 2: Get the podcast by email.
Option 3: Add the podcast to start page (Yahoo, Google, MSN etc.).
Option 4: Embed the podcast player in any website, blog, or MySpace.
