Current mood:  thankful

When changing your lifestyle usually things are going on in your current Situation that make you say “Something has to change”. Either it’s socially driven keeping company of undesirable people will cause a life style social change, Or physical meaning an undesirable appearance that makes you say “I NEED TO CHANGE”, Or Finances the ends just don’t justify the means. When changing your life style one or all of these things are happening! Unfortunately you have the one unlucky sole that has a situation I like to call attachments.  Attachments are as such: Cigarettes, Alcohol, and Drug use. This person every New Year’s says I’m going to quit! But every year unable to kick the habit because he or she doesn’t realize it’s a life style change that has to take place in order to kick the habit! If you are one of these people! First off grab a piece of paper and write down what people in your  social  circle that you wouldn’t mind seeing less of. (Basically if you saw them tomorrow it would be too soon)! Next to their name you need to write down what it is they do that drives you crazy! Don’t worry these are your personal thoughts no one is going to see it unless you show them. Secondly exercise when you look better you feel better in-turn makes you a better person. When exercising! Don’t take on to much at one time people tend to focus on “I’m working out hard and not seeing results” this tends to create failure. Figure out your workout schedule write it down so you can follow the schedule.  Put down times like that person you don’t like comes to lunch table at 12:00pm write down 12:00pm walking during that time you exercise by walking down the street to a restaurant to eat a Chiefs Salad, and walk back to work your eating better and exercising and avoiding things that upset your train of thought. Separate your days : Monday, Wednesday, and  Friday make those days the days you walk throw on your iPod filled with music from Lil Macc  Loco Tuesdays, and Thursdays  hit the gym join a class wither it’s aerobics, weight training ect………Also your Diet plays an enormous role in your life style change changing the way you eat will also help with your metabolism energy and you just simply feel better. For cigarette smokers get some sunflower seeds, Trail mix, nuts. There is nothing wrong with munching on a good source of protein during cravings When you look at what you’re doing your life style has changed. You remember that paper where you wrote down people that irritate the hell out of you. When you feel week read it use it as motivation to continue to stay on your life style change!

(Stands for Hate one nose one)

There is a new strain of H1N1. (Stands for Hate one nose one) It’s a rare strain of swine flu and taburculosis. That goes around unlike its predecessor it may not take the lives of thousands of people. On the Contrary it acts like (TB) Tuberculosis it spreads threw conversation. It’s when the hater runs into a non-participating party and strikes up a conversation, First he gives off the negative energy And then starts speaking on what he doesn’t like by adding in things he hates (Looking 4 things to hate on)Be careful because there could be someone listening ,And he could be talking about you! The disease spreads fast you will know if people around you are infected: 1). They start looking for things to hate on 2) Whatever you do they will have a better story 3) When other people no things you have said 4)When they say things under their breath you think are small but you find yourself always ignoring 5) When they go out of their way to try and make you look bad in front of people 6) Finally They  stab you in the back. You can never be friends with this person or support this individual because you could get infected with the disease and become this person, Also they will continue to turn friends against you whether it’s people you have known for a long time or If it’s in social networks like MySpace they go through your friend list saying things about you or your family if they know them all they have to do is say hello. The only cure is medication if you no such person do as I did and consult them let them know you suspect something such as bipolar don’t say hater aide they tend to get upset and not want to hear you enlist a family member such as a wife or mother someone who’s is close to the individual so thell have a support group when seeking help! IF THEY CHOOSE NOT TO SEEK HELP! End the friendship instantly the end result is evident no matter if you choose not to talk to the person or not the relationship will sour.

Border Lords 2’
Local film to premiere
By Leonard Martinez Billy Townes’ film career started off as a way to test equipment for a company. It has now led him to direct his second film, “Border Lords 2: Dark Secrets,” set to premiere Thursday, Oct. 29.

“The first one got enough accolades where people said, ‘We want a continuing story. We want to see more, we like it.’ This movie is a continuation of the last movie,” Townes said. “We decided to go a little bit more mystical. We had fun. We wanted different twists with the sequel.”

“Border Lords 2” follows the Cortez family as it is challenged for power as one of the mafioso-like families on the U.S.-Mexican border.

Townes is quick to point out that the Cortez family and events in the two movies he directed are fictional and not based on any real families or events.

“We are influenced by what’s going over there,” Townes said. “We have this story that parallels what’s been going on in Juarez. (This) is our totally made-up, fictional story.”

The Oct. 29 screening at Premiere Cinemas quickly sold out within a few hours of going on sale last month because of word of mouth and the Internet.

“I had people offer me double, triple the price because they wanted to buy 30-40 tickets,” said Mark Love, executive producer.

Love put a ticket cap on how many tickets people could buy so it would be fair to all.

Although Townes is known for his music, he said he has always loved films and is enjoying learning a new career despite some criticism he has received.

Some have suggested that he shouldn’t be making films because he doesn’t have a film degree. “Border Lords” was shot between 2003 and 2007 so Townes could test equipment for Sony. Originally, it consisted of stand-alone episodes, but Townes and crew decided to use them for a movie, and more scenes were shot to finish the film.

“I don’t agree with that,” Townes said of criticism he’s received for not having a film degree. “I could go and turn around and see people on stage playing. ‘Well, who are you to be playing piano that way?’ I don’t do that. Go ahead, even make a CD if you want to. People say I don’t have experience. Well, I’m gaining experience.”

Townes said this film was taken to the next level by Benny Ontiveros, director of cinematography. Ontiveros’ work on the movie include breathless scenes of El Paso.

The cast includes Paul Jaso, a retired police lieutenant in real life who plays the head of the crime family in the film; Henry Bryant, a former pro football player turned child and drug abuse advocate; and local TV personalities Robert Bettes and Nichole Ayoub.

“You know a lot of times as an officer you have to hold back, and it was kind of nice to let go for a change,” Jaso said. “So it was a lot of fun.”

Bettes, known for his over-the-top personality during his weather reports and skits on KDBC-TV Channel 4, said it was fun to play a serious character in the film.

“My character is not just the lawyer but he’s also kind of an adopted family member in a strange way,” Bettes said. “His success is tied to them. And he gets as frustrated and as passionate as the Cortez family. I would say I had to turn (my performance) up.”

Townes isn’t too worried about any criticism that might come his way with “Border Lords 2.”

“We did the best we could and we had a lot of fun doing it. We wanted to show people our vision. We wanted to show off the talent we have here. It was a lot of work. Will I do this again? Of course.”
