after a long winter's nap...after many hours of spring cleaning...i'm ready...i'm coming to play philadelphia. i like sun ra very much. i like philly, too. and the tritone (http://www.tritonebar.com) is where they all come together. me and zummo (http://www.myspace.com/peterzummo) are playing as H*E*R this saturday, april 26th. danny is staying home. this will be one of sara sherr's Sugartown nights (http://www.myspace.com/sarasherr). we're on first at 10p. that's just enough time to eat and grab a whisky before we go on.
i tell you - the best part of this night will be my ol' pal alice cohen (http://www.myspace.com/alicecohen) who just release her first solo record called "sky flowers." she's a philly native and this will be a homecoming for her. yes!
also some more nice people: collette columbirch (http://www.myspace.com/colettecolumbirch), bells bells bells (http://www.myspace.com/bellsbellsbells) and dj julia factorial from wprb! (http://www.philadelphiaweekly.com/view.php?id=1371).
you can also come to this show after my friend laris kreslins gives an auction at HeartWorks (http://artipedia.org/artsnews/exhibitions/2008/04/03/heartworks-week-long-event-in-philadelphia/)

i've been saddened lately by loss of life and tormented by all the dead leaves and abandoned feathers the recent winds brought in my kitchen. i invited my friends amy jones -former member of goddess (www.myspace.com/goddessisthemind) and jukeboxer (http://www.absolutelykosher.com/jukeboxer.html) -  and photographer kramer o'neill (http://www.flickr.com/photos/krameroneill/) to help me cope. we really cleaned up the place.
