Dear Friends,

I'll be signing copies of SCANDALOUS BY NIGHT in Washington D.C. at the Romance Writers of America's "Readers for Life" Literacy Autographing on Wednesday, July 15, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel, Exhibit Hall. The event is open to the public and there is no admittance charge. More than 500 authors will be in attendance, and sales of books purchased at the event go to literacy charities. For those attending the Romance Writers of America conference (July 15-18), I will also be autographing books at the St. Martin's Press book signing on Saturday, July 18, from 3:00-4:30 p.m. Check your conference schedule to confirm the date/time and location.

I hope everyone is having a great summer!  Ours is almost over, since the kids go back to school on August 4th.  I have a week of school shopping and open houses ahead of me, but the one thing that I am looking forward to is Scandalous by Night will officially go on sale tomorrow!

P.S.  I have a new book trailer for Scandalous by Night!  I'm hoping to have it uploaded to my mp3 player so I can show it off at the convention.  Unless, I can sweet-talk my husband into doing it for me, I probably won't get a chance to add it to my website or MySpace page until Sunday.

Dear Friends,

Copy edits for Scandalous by Night arrived at my door this afternoon.  I’m really looking forward to revisiting Everod and Maura’s story again.  Over the years, I’ve learned that a little distance from a story allows me to approach the edits with a fresh perspective.

Before I cut back on my online time, I wanted to let everyone know that I will be attending Romantic Times 25th Booklovers Convention in Pittsburgh next month.  You can find details about the convention and book fair here.  For those of you attending, I hope you’ll stop by my table and say, "hello"
