Hi all

Finally some good news. My wrist is at about 85% and we're playing a benefit show for the legendary Cabana venue in Napier on the 28th of August. 

We will hopefully be planning a NZ tour for November/December

Maurice has a couple songs up on his Desbot page to check out.

Sorry for the long wait for an update but there hasn’t been much to update in the last few months unfortunately. I had surgery 6 weeks ago and am still a while away before I can play guitar any longer than 15 - 20 minutes at a time. Its getting VERY frustrating as you could imagine.

On the plus side we have been working/creating electronically from time to time on ideas that seem to be developing so we’ll have a platform to start from when things get better on the wrist front. Maurice is still working on his solo project Desbot and Jason has been busy playing drums for Tiki Tane and co. Hopefully we’ll have a more positive update for you soon!

Plans of recording the new album have been shelved for now due to Jeff needing some surgery on his arm/wrist. He has been unable to play guitar for the last 3 months, but has been booked in for surgery in mid February. There are a few possible outcomes, and there is a possibility that he will be out after that for another 2 months or, in the worst case scenario, 12 months. Here's hoping it will be the former. We'll keep you updated.

Meanwhile, Maurice is planning to record some of the material from his solo noise/experimental project Desbot. So keep an eye out for more details.
Jason will be playing at the at the Big Day Out shows in NZ and Australia with Tiki Taane, check it if you can. J
