Thanks and props to Pianoteq (the most advanced piano modeling software on the planet) for their generous contribution of a full version of their excellent software worth over £200!

Lacking a good piano (and the funds to buy one) means that this is invaluable to me. The sound has inspired me already and I can't wait to compose and record with it.

Last Friday, head of sales, Niclas Fogwall described my solo work as "very soothing" before saying that they look forward to listening my forthcoming recordings.

An obtuse man famous for only his bad clothes/hair and private life has the audacity to condemn the Internet for 'killing creativity'. Surely there is no evidence of creativity (musical or emotional) within his vast back catalogue of soulless pop. The Internet on the other hand is empowering artists with genuine talent who's work would otherwise go unheard without commercial marketability (appealing to children aged 7-12). It is also, I believe slowly improving the musical taste of our species as we realise that talent is in much greater concentration outside of the singles chart.

LIQUIDATORS HAVE BEEN APPOINTED TO THE BROOK

I, as well as many others I'm sure, owe The Brook BIG TIME - not only have I had the privilage to rehearse and play many times in the best venue in the South but also to witness some of the most amazing acts.

Everyone from John Martyn to Mr Scruff has played there and the venue always brings out the best. Should this institution ever be brought down, part of Southampton's heart and soul will surely fall.

If you have ever been there, please take a minute to visit their guestbook and offer the great staff some words of encouragement.
