Produkt Schallplatten is back in action after a brief hiatus with a new vinyl EP called “Let’s The Band Back Together.” Think accidental meeting between a robot jam band and Tito Puente in Detroit. On acid. At sunrise. buy it on decks.de on vinyl, soon we will offer digital versions too! C1+C2 are digital downloads for free!

our new release is out in a few days and so far we got a nice support from friends and DJs around the world:

Marc Ashken (Leftroom): definatly play groove grains, the track is bad boy, need to be playing that man.

Barem (M-nus): I liked the tracks! really nice.

Agaric/Patrick Skoog (Drumcode, We Are): I love the release, great groovy balanced sounds - my favourite is jam4 and will play it alot.

Deetron (Music Man): Oh Groove Grains is awesome, love it! Really into Deeper as well.

Mark-Henning (Soma, Clink, Vitalik): really like the A-side/Deeper - will play for sure

Audio Werner (Hartchef): speziell Groove Grains gefällt mir ziemlich gut! / Especially Groove Grains is really good!

Oliver Ho (Meta/Blueprint): Deeper and deeper and deeper into the groove, love the personality showing through.

Alland Byallo (Nightlight): I absolutely love Jam 4!!! I had a great time being part of “Deeper,” and this entire release is 100% pure quality! 5/5

Perc (Perc Trax, CLR, Ovum): I like Deeper, mainly because I’m a sucker for those Orbital-style chords riffs. Lovely!

Ji-Hun Kim (De:Bug): Schöne, roughe, detroitige house ep, so weit ich das beurteilen kann bislang.

Jerome Viale (Tsugi): Yeah, Groove Grains is crazy, I really like it!

Dear friends and label supporters,
for quite a while it seemed to be very quiet around Produkt Schallplatten. We took a break from releasing and were sitting a lot in the studio. Out of some jam sessions we would like to present you our new record which is coming out at October the 19th.
Simply imagine the result of some real-time, unhurried jam sessions between some highly talented heads, edited to perfection with only the dancefloor in mind.

produkt-009
......

Our first release in 2009 is featuring Cologne-based-Berlin-living Sebastian Steimel.Probably you know him by all of his mastering work for Produkt Schallplatten and his releases on Pinksilver, Budenzauber and Krautshop.

His first solo-EP on Produkt delivers four 808 bass driven tracks full of oldschool synths, floating pads and organic grooves. As the titles explain this as a concept release, sebastian worked out the EP in one process trying to keep focussing on a certain idea of sound and timbre. Sebastian got influenced by 1970s recordings of Krautrock bands like Ash-Ra Tempel, Tangerine Dream, Can and Dieter Moebius.

Chilean born Hector Pizarro, enlightens us with his trademark late night jazzy & experimental sounds in the form of a 4 track EP. Reminiscent of early works by Pole or Farben, Hector's music floats in a sea of dubby atmospheres surrounded by broken beats and sparse percussion. On remix duties, Mathias Linzatti offers 2 distinct dubby re-workings of Montevideo, one of which includes vocals from his girlfriend. Followed by From Karaoke To Stardom's mysterious and steady remix of Mi Abuelito, To close things off, Sebastian Herre offers us a groovy dancefloor affair with his rework of Ciclo. All in all, a varied package of both listen-at-home and dance-your-ass-off cuts brought to you by the Produkt family.

since we still get a few demos which are definitely not the style we would like to release we dont accept demos anymore before we dont know the person behind it. we try to operate from a family background with friendships between all the guys we're working with. so if you really like to present us your sound you have to talk with us first. therefor we opened a msn account: mail @ produkt schallplatten . net
contact us there if you like, all supporters are invited too to talk with us.

Produkt Artist Ensemble shows the wide range of quality music Produkt Schallplatten has in store for its listeners.
A1, produced by Johan Fotmeijer, is a deep piece of organic techno, which focuses on middle eastern chants and percussion; the rolling bassline on "Amir" will take you through peaks and valleys, but the highlight here is the amazing guitar solo.
A2, comes from the mind of William Kouam Djoko (member of Jason & the Argonauts). William translates his signature dance moves into an all out dancefloor bomb! filled with soul and funk "Right Back" will certainly get the booties shaking.
B1 is produced by Staffan Linzatti under his Forever Delayed moniker. "Mini Skirt" is a fast paced groover with an experimental tip; this is one you’ll hear at your nearest after hour.
Finally, B2 is a collaboration between Sebastian Herre and Red Kite. "Spiel mit der Angst", will take you on a ride through a microscopic playground of bleeps and blops until its low bass drops bring you back to reality and make you pull a dance move or two. All in all a varied and well produced EP from one very produktive family.

Johan Fotmeijer - Amir
William Kouam Djoko - Right Back
Forever Delayed - Mini Skirt
Herre & Red Kite - Spiel mit der Angst

What could 6 artists do after a weekend of partying? They could start a conceptual music production jam-session in 3 separate rooms, by pairing up and switching rooms and partners every 20 minutes! It was an experiment in human interaction and what the result might be when different producers with different backgrounds work together in the same project. Mathias Linzatti, Mike Wall, Michael Standor, Sebastian Steimel, Miguel Colmenares and Sebastian Herre took part in such project in September, 2007. The result is a 3 track EP filled with several different influences and sounds, each track unique but at the same time similar. More rendez-vous sessions will follow soon...
