Whatup World, In preparation for the release of my latest project I've been working on, entitled "Arkatype," I'm releasing the lead single, Galactic Love ft. Syreeta Write, on bandcamp. This song has been in the player rotation for a while and has gotten lots of great feedback, and I feel like it is a good foot forward so to speak for the album I'm fixing to release, which is currently in its final stages of mixing. The single release also includes the track "New Day," a real blazer of a tune to say the least. The full songs as well as the instrumentals are available at bandcamp for a minimum cost of 50 cents each (you're free to pay more if you're inclined), and are available in multiple audio formats. So please support, and most of all enjoy this beast of a love song. I'm sure it will wet your appetite for the rest of the album as well. Give thanks and stay tuned!

whatup world, so the votes are in, and i'm going with CAV3 it was tough to decide, and even though some of my closest and most respected partners suggested other possibilities, i think this is the simplest and most streamline way to make the moniker unique plus the number three is major so thanks to everybody who helped me figure this one out and stay tuned for more cosmic beat salads from your boy peace & love

Whatup folks,
so there's an issue i'm trying to deal with... the artist name that i've been using for a while seems to be a name that other bands and artists have also used. so when you search cave on myspace, itunes, last.fm, google, etc... lots of other shit comes up that's not me! big deal right? the whole moniker thing feels silly at times... but biz is biz, gotta have a unique identity if i'm going to take shit to the next level...
so i was hoping some of ya'll might have some input, at the moment i've been thinkin bout a few options...
cav3 young cave cave-san cave84 caev kave
(pretty much grabbing at straws here...)
any suggestions?

My Dad was a great man! As the youth of today would say “He went hard!” He was a genius, an artist, and a cosmic adventurer. He taught me and inspired me to open my mind to a larger reality, to look deep and read between the lines, and to be myself despite what other people thought. He showed me to not be shaken by anybody save the Lord, and to stand my ground and be fearless in the face of adversity. He had a child-like playfulness, radiance, and mystery about him, although it became murky and obscured towards the end of his life as the stress and weight of his modern lifestyle began to tear at his extremities – literally. Even so, his ability to laugh in the face of impending doom still inspires me to this day. He was a roller coaster of love and hate, a man whose undeniable passion for freedom and distaste for limitation burned like the sun. It was these extremes that would eventually wear him out, as we all will when the time is right. I believe firmly that the time and circumstances of a person’s death are always consistent with the Greater Plan, even though it is hard to see clearly at times through the clouds of grief and sadness at the loss of a loved one. My father, however, was ready to meet his maker, and I can feel his joy even now as I am writing these words, at the freedom that he is currently experiencing as he explores the universe and his adventures continue through the infinite worlds of the Spirit. Love you Dad!

http://www.redicecreations.com/article.php?id=7382
i was checkin this website redicecreations.com last night and stumbled across this post which contains a few videos which really opened (re-opened rather) my eyes to some of the foul play going on behind the scenes of the music industry. a good reminder that we must always put integrity first, and never sacrifice being true to ourselves and true to God for material gain. this is what is meant by the phrase "selling your soul." as artists nowadays it's easy to be duped by all the hype in the media into developing this voracious appetite for fame and fortune, as if you'll never be satisfied until you get up there with the big guys. well this documentary series shows you that alot of the big guys have paid a high price and crossed a hard line to get that far up in the game...an eye opener to say the least...
Matthew 6:33 "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."
peace & love
