Greetings  Space People,

Next up for Semiconductor, we have a show and performance at the Arnolfini this Friday 4th April in Bristol,UK. And then on Saturday 5th April Space scientist Chris Davis will reveal the science behind the solar images as well as current NASA missions to the sun. This is followed by a presentation and a screening of some of our other moving image works, at Watershed on Thursday 17th April. More details can be found on our touring web page.

Also we are delighted to tell you that Magnetic Movie  picked up the award for ’Best Film at the Cutting Edge’  at the  British Animation Awards last week, and as we didn’t get a chance to thank people at the ceremony we’d like to do it here! So a big thank you to Animate Projects and also our scientists at UC Berkeley, who made the film at all possible.

We are currently working on a couple of new commissions; a moving image installation work commissioned by ARCADI in Paris, which will be exhibited there in the Autumn and a site specific work in Milan commissioned by Care Of Gallery. The resulting work will be installed at ’La Triennale di Milano’ in May.

Magnetic Movie and Brilliant Noise have lots of upcoming screenings and exhibitions at film festivals and galleries, and several recent articles, details of which can be found on our news web page.

Hello, It's the final week of our Brilliant Noise exhibition at Fabrica, Brighton with the last day being this Sunday 13th January. So if you haven't been yet time is running out! Opening hours this week are: Wed-Sat 11:30am-5pm, Sun 2-5pm.

We have uploaded some video documentation of the show to whet your appetite, and have also added some new writing on the Brilliant Noise exhibition and Magnetic Movie by Jack Sargeant and Douglas Khan respectively.

Magnetic Movie has lots of upcoming screenings and award nominations including the current London Short Film Festival, the imminent festivals Rotterdam, Transmediale and Stuttgart Filmwinter, and a short listing for the British Animation Awards. In November it was awarded Best Experimental Film at Tirana International Film Festival. Also, the Pompidou Centre in Paris has just purchased Brilliant Noise for their exhibition collection and archive.

We will be at Transmediale and possibly at Rotterdam so if you have plans to be there let us know. Finally, we will be performing in Eindhoven this Friday if you happen to be passing…

Thanks for listening…Ruth and Joe

Details of the other upcoming events can be found on our website here.
