so last thursday (aug 20) was the "set your goals/four year strong/polar bear club/fireworks/drive a" show at the glasshouse in pomona. 5 bands...gosh, it seemed so long! hahah. dont get me wrong, i like all the bands that played but it just seemed to go on and on. maybe i was just tired and hungry :P i picked up for the Set your goals 12" vinyl which i was stoked about because it was limited. a big thank you to Will for coming with me..i could tell you were bored since you didn't know any of the bands but like i said, THANK YOU! :)

Last Wednesday (July 22), i went to go see No Doubt, Paramore and The Sounds play at Gibson Amp. I finally got to meet Sandra who lives all the way in Greece! hahah. It was her first Paramore concert so i'm stoked she got to see it with me! lol. Anyways, I had to get there around 5 or so to get info about the meet & greet with Paramore. Got my wristband, and we went in around 6 or so. They were doing interviews so we waited by the bus. They came out, said hey, signed our items and then we took pictures. I had a Ryan Russell picture with me for them to sign and they hadn't even seen it yet. Josh saw himself and was like "I can't believe that picture got out!" hahah. Taylor got excited because he was in it (still getting used to being an OFFICIAL member i guess haha). Hayley liked my shirt (zombies!!) and wish she had it, hahaha jk. Anyways, they couldn't stay for long because Hayley had to go do vocal warm-ups. A few of us went to go pick up our tickets at the No Doubt tour club. I met up with Sandra and off we went into pit! There was hardly anybody, so we were like 2-3rd row. The Sounds came out right on time! After them, Paramore came out and despite Hayley feeling sick, they put on a great show! No Doubt finally came out after taping the floor white (haha) and setting up and whatnot, and the crowd went nuts. The pit got more pushier (it was roomy before!). Some girl kept dancing with her butt and everyone was like STOP IT! but she continued on to mess with everyone. She might have been tipsy. Oh, this is going to make me sound like a creep but I got to hold Gwen's arm! hahahaah. Wish i could say hand, but she was already holding someone else to help get her up on the barricades. :P Overall, the show was amazing and I can't wait to see them play again with Katy Perry on August 4th!

a night of good music :) it was at the glasshouse in pomona..i do not like that venue! hahah, weird layout i guess. im going back there to see set your goals in august tho which im stoked about. i SHOULD have early entry so i'll catch a spot on the elevated area since im so short and i wouldnt wanna be in the pit during that show getting my head kicked hahahaha.

i want summer to be here already. im so over school. i have two finals this week and one more the week after. and a project. boooo.

both shows were so good. i had a ton of fun at the nfg/set your goals/bayside/shai hulud show with Will! Thanks for attending it with me even though it was kind of last minute haha.

bamboozle left was nice, saw a bunch of favorites and then other amazing new bands.. even met some of 'em so that was pretty tight. i was quite happy the weather wasn't all too hot or else i would have been sunburnt to death (remember my jimmy kimmel experience???? i was literally pink at the end of the day hahaha)

anyways, next show? britney spears @ the staples center..that should be entertaining.

you may have noticed that my jonas obsession has been lacking a bit lately.. thank goodness right? wrong!! just because i havent been attending every single damn event lately doesnt mean im no longer a fan.. i'm still loyal to those boys :) i went to see their 3d movie this past weekend with Will and it was awesome! definitely check it out while you can ;)

anywho, who is excited for the hannah montana movie?! hahahaha i am.. i love miley.

Wow, there are a ton of shows I want to attend! Katy Perry has a show next weekend. H2O has a show at the Hollywood Palladium on Feb. 20th. Jimmy Eat world are playing a show in L.A. in March (!!!), The Maine are playing on the AP Tour, VersaEmerge are playing at the Knitting Factory and Chain Reaction, Bamboozle Left is coming up in April. The Get Up Kids are playing! I'm happy they're back.

My teacher is talking about reproducing and how it relates to equilibrium and he says "the father, the son.." and he pauses for answers. I wanted to shout out "AND THE HOLY SPIRIT." I didn't, but I sat there cracking up by myself. These inspirational books are really helping me build my relationship with the Man above. What should you guys read? The Shack. As you all can see, I am reading 90 Minutes In Heaven, a true story about Death and Life. Check that out, too, when you can.

hello all! i feel like i don't really blog regularly and only blog when i attend a show but that is about to change! (for now anyways). i'm here in irvine right now, i have a class at 5. i hate having to walk home because its always dark at 6:20 now! i remember it used to get dark at like, eight. that was awesome. anywho, this week was stressful, but i'm done for now. i'm so excited for thanksgiving! im just glad to be home for longer than 2 days. however, after that it's back to finals and whatnot! nooo. enjoy the break while you all can guys!! hope everything is having a good week so far.

I just wanted to say that I can't freakin' believe that Twilight comes out next Friday. AHHHHH!! Speaking of Twilight..

I saw the cast last week. It was an MTV event and I got chosen/invited to attend. They told us only Robert Pattinson, Kristin Stewart and Catherine Hardwicke were going to be there, but everyone was there (minus Cam and Rachelle)! It was filmed for the show "Spoilers" and that airs tonight at 7:30 PM on MTV so make sure you catch it! I went with Caity, and being the Twilight nerds we are, we started giggling when we saw Robert walk the red carpet. He had cut his hair and this event was kind of his "premier," but no matter what, that man will always be sexy. Hahahahah. I want to go to the damn Twilight premiere on Monday, but sadly I can't. I have midterms and projects to start on. Caity and I are very sad on that note.

Anyways, Demi Lovato on Saturday. At least I can look towards that AND Twilight!!

I went to a show last Saturday and it was good! It felt like I hadn't been to a concert/show in so long. I saw The Maine/Mayday Parade/Every Avenue and All Time Low. Actually I didn't bother staying for All Time Low. I was planning to only catch The Maine + Mayday Parade but Every Avenue played first so yeahh, ha. Me and my sister got there around 7:30 and the line was so long. We asked the dude at the back and he told us to just get in the line for the restaurant and we made it into the venue in about 10 minutes. Stood and sat around in the back for a while. We didn't want to go in the pit so we hung out in the back with the parents! Hahahahah. Yes, I don't ever remember my parents ever going with me to concerts. Perhaps that is a good thing, ha.
