 I’m happy to announce the release of my album electronica album REBOOT. The album is being distributed digitally and is available as an immediate digital download via my online store at http://markmosher.bandcamp.com.
The album is currently being offered using the “pay what you will” model. Although the suggested pricing is $6 for the 7 song album + digital booklet and $1 for singles, you can name their own price including specifying $0 for free downloads. There are future plans to make the album available on iTunes and Amzon’s MP3 store. For those who are new to this site I’ve included a small summary of the project below: Two years in the making, REBOOT is an album containing 7 richly layered electronica songs that blend contemporary synthesizer sounds with classical music motifs. The end result is dark electronica for those who love synth "ear candy" with a “dirty” industrial edge. While the songs on REBOOT stand alone as singles, the collection is an album in the true sense of the word. They share a common palette and when played in sequence conjure an epic and dynamic story for the listener. Prior to the release of the album, the first three tracks were released as singles. "Midnight" and "Stealth" went to #1 and "They Walk Among Us" went to #2 on the Soundclick.com electronica charts.

My new electronica single "They Walk Among Us" is online. This
song has an interesting story. You see - I traveled back in time with
my music production laptop and a pile of virtual synthesizers to score
a 50's Sci-Fi B-Movie. “They Walk Among Us” is the result.
Will
any humans survive?
You’ll have to listen to find out. Extra points if
you can tell me the Morse code message in the end of the song.

If you like theremins, 50’s SCI-FI B-Movies, flying saucer sounds, big
beats and ear candy I think you’ll really dig this track. It’s been a
lot of fun to put compose and mix – especially the creation of all the

I’ve not posted in a number of weeks. I’ve been quite busy working on various music related projects. Here is a quick run-down. - I’m have a really fun new electronica single that is almost finished.
- Ableton
Live 8 released. Live 8 is the software I use for all my compositions
so I’ve been busy learning it and blogging about it over at http://www.modulatethis.com. - Last weekend I attended the Communikey Festival of Electronic arts in Boulder where I got to meet a lot of other electronic musicians and see some great performances.
- Almost daily I’m doing sound design work for an upcoming library for http://www.Modulatethis.com.
