Hello,

We've had a lot of  messages asking when our next gig is, so I thought I'd post a blog about it.

Right now we're writing heaps of songs and recording for the next few months, that's why there's no gigs booked.  Although we're great multi-taskers we just want to concentrate on the album for a couple of months, then we'll be right back in the gigging circuit again.  Sorry to all the bands/venues who we've turned down gigs from lately, we'll make it up to you before the end of the year.

Brian Canham (pseudo echo frontman) is producing our next single and we'll be releasing that in a few weeks.  If you haven't been to any of our gigs then you will have never, ever, ever heard this song before and it's a pretty cool one.... well I reckon so anyway.  The last track Brian produced for us got airplay on Triple J, hooray!!  You can download that track for free here - www.triplejunearthed.com/thegreenmatics

Here's some fun photos from our recent East Coast Tour....

at Step Inn in Brisbane, guess which room....

26th July - The Step Inn , Brisbane (4zzz gig).

Here's a review that we found in Beat Magazine for our single 'I Love Technology', by Simone.

"A middle-paced electro pop pumper with the familiar airy swirl of femme robotics in the chorus. It's a weird one of those things, but Lithuanian lead singer Green pronounces the word as "techno-logy" and it really makes the song. Suitably cool and surprisingly clever dance music"

Ant (drums) is actually the Lithuanian and I'm the NZer, just to clarify.

So keep a listen out on Australian/NZ radiostations in the next couple of weeks and you'll get to hear some new stuff from us.

Awesome, ayeeee!
