TOURS, THANKS AND 2010!

This is Bright Yellow wrapping up a few very busy months of touring.

Since we started doing shows again in May this year we have been up and down the country from Emerald (somehwere between Brisbane and Mars) to Hobart. Doing more gigs than we care to count now. From 3 hour sets in empty rooms to fantastic supports with British India. We have truly a great time being able to do what we love.

This is to say thank you to anyone who has come to see us play. Especially those who supported us, came and talked to us, bought a CD or whatever.
To the guys in British India we can't thank you enough. They have (again) helped us out with so many supports and its been great to get in front of so many people and play so many places.

We will be spending our summertime working on new songs and getting ready to tour our album next year. We will be on the road most of the year with a few breaks to finally get back in the studio to start recording some new material!

We have only a couple more gigs this year, ending with Children Collide in Gosford on 11th Dec.

It would be great if you came along!

Bright Yellow, NOW PLAYING LIVE

Having gone on a luxurious cruise somewhere around the Anatactic Gulf of Nowhere, we've returned safely and plunged ourselves into rehearsals for gigs again, and it'll soon be like we never left.

Bright Yellow Live!

Bright Yellow, after a long a summer of musical abstinence will be back playing shows in May!
Those of you who know Bright Yellow understand we have been through some mighty stuggles to keep the band alive over the last few years.
This is to let you The music is back to life, re-energised and powerful once again. We beleive in this band to much to let things slide away and this time, with your help, we're gunna make it happen.
We are itching to get back on stage again and have organised a small run of dates to show you just what we mean.
We have several shows lined up for May in venues on the Central Coast, Newcastle and Sydney.

The forest of colour (series 3)

So yeah these things are getting quite annoying their has been no comments on them and if thats the way its gunna happen im just gunna stop writing the damn things

So were in the forest of colour right, we got those colours flowin', right and just as we think things have gotten way too good we find our ipods. Toby turns his on first, he has a slow reaction to it but sure enough his head starts getting pinker then greener then just completly explodes into a mass of colour. Chris and Jeff look at eachother, it is in these dying moments they decide not to turn their ipods on but to put tobys head back together, it takes little more than a few minuites to get there and before they know it the forest is at peace again.

Heres a continuation on the Brightyellow Myspace

this is a leak of the imaginitive Aboutme story I wrote when we had just discovered myspace... I will add another part of the story every weeek so stay online so you know the whoole story

...By the Time the forest turned yellow Jeff Toby and Chris had gotten very tierd, and by this time the colours had become much more powerful, Everything in the forest now had turned bright yllow. As well as realising that the forest was yellow Toby realised that he had a bucket full of lollies that he once got of his freind Carl for his birthday, As Toby ate thes lollies his taste buds became intrigingly large and filled up the forest with a pujent smell of White Wine, Coles Salads and Tescos Buiscuits.

The next one is when we turn on our Ipods So Stay Tunned

COMING BACK

Hi this is JEFF, devoted bass player of BRIGHT YELLOW.
Here to say that Bright Yellow is back on track. Over the last few months the band has really been put to the test in many ways but we beleive in this band and are here to stay. We've spent the last few months working on Music Videos and design for the upcoming release of out debut album 'DOWN HERE FOR HOURS'

Although it might seem like we dissapeared off the scene, we have been rehearsing new material and will be returning to the stage in the coming weeks. We appreciate all the support for the band and CHRIS. We will be coming back with all we've got!

Stayed tuned to this MYSPACE page for shows, new VIDEOS, new WEBPAGE and other NEWS because things are moving again and were fucking excited to be a stronger, better band than ever before.
