Current mood: anxious
That's right for a while the drummer of local metal band Core Ten was playing with us but he has since decided that time was in issue and holding down 2 bands was going to be too much for him. We wish Andy well and if you get a chance check out Core Ten if you like it heavy you'll dig those guys. Now the search goes on, we do have some possibilties for new drummers so we'll keep you posted on when the new guy is selected, and hopefully it'll be sooner than later. Our goal still continues to be out gigging again my end of summer. Wish us luck!

Current mood: accomplished
So, the reunited/newly-formed LDFifty is back in the practice of ...well, practice, again! It's a great thing when a band whose original presence was strong but ended in its later childhood can reappear on the scene to such a warm "WELCOME BACK!" It's easy when you'd only just begun to permeate the areas outside the boundaries of the local area to categorize yourself as a "flash in the pan local band", but it is now - as it always was - the loyalty of the fans that make you larger than what you're playing amongst.
The original lineup has changed by only one player - our drummer - but, unanimously, we feel like we've taken on just one more contributor to the creativity. You'll hear the songs that you sang along with. We haven't forgotten you guys and what you've asked for, but you'll also see that style anad flavor expanding into new music that will be just as hard to get out of your heads!
So, THANK YOU, to the members that have ALREADY signed on to remind us who our friends are on MySpace, who have let us know that it wasn't just the members of the band that couldn't wait to get LDfifty back in the business of making and playing music, and who will continue to be the fuel for what we do!
Invite your friends, tell them to sign on as friends and supporters of the band and the overall scene sprouting anew from this area, and send a note or place a comment. We need to know where we can play, where you want us, and whose faces and names to recognize and shout out from the stage when we're there!
Also, sign on regularly to the LDFifty MySpace Music site for announcements, updates, new material, insights, and random thoughts. We built the site for you, we (re)built the band for you, and we want you there close by (so we can keep an eye on some of you...!)
