When the artists Ginormous and The Protist asked if they could remix some songs, we were honored. When we got the songs back we were amazed...so much so we decided we had to put them out on their very own album.

The EP features remixes of Failing at Art, Beyond the Waves, Heart Delay, and In the Lights. The songs share a lush electronic mood that complements Year Around the Suns textured song structures flawlessly. The Ginormous/ Protist Remix EP will make the perfect late night YATS addition and will be sure to find a home in your permanent electro playlist rotation.

So we have been working non-stop on the new tunage and remix album.  It is going awesome!  During all of this we keep coming across all of our old Demos and songs that fell to the cutting room floor. 

So we thought it might be cool to release some of this stuff to tide everyone over untill we get the new stuff out.  If you want to hear a song from where it all started, with all of it's nakedness and blemishes, let us know and if we find it we will post it.

Hey Everyone! Wanted to drop a line and let you know whats going on in YATS land. We have started working on our new album which unfortunately means no shows will be booked until all the recording is done. :( Luckily though we have also been working on a remix album with Protist and Ginormous, two amazing electronic artists, which will feature remixes from the Inva De Siva album.  A release date hasn't been set but it's looking like it will be finished in late spring. That should tide you over. :)

As bad as things are we are going brave the recession and set out to tour with the new release this fall, so send us an email and let us know where you are and what venue you want to see us at. Love YATS-
