Available from Monday onwards we have 3 great Holly Golightly albums for you. All 3 were originally released on Sympathy For The Record Industry and have been unavailable for some time. Head over to www.damagedgoods.co.uk to order online.

Painted On CD/LP

Painted On CD/LP

This is a reissue of Holly Golightly’s third proper album which was originally released in 1997 on the Sympathy label in the USA, now finally available on digipak CD and 12” LP vinyl.

‘Painted On’ is one of Holly’s favourite albums and it features some of her regular live favourites including ‘A Length Of Pipe’ and ‘I Let My Daddy Do That’ which she now plays along with Lawyer Dave in her current incarnation as Holly Golightly & The Brokeoffs.

Up The Empire CD/LP

Up The Empire CD/LP

This is a reissue of Holly Golightly’s first ever live album which was originally released in 1998 on the Sympathy For The Record Industry label in the USA, now finally available on Digipak CD and 12” LP vinyl once again.

‘Up The Empire’ was Holly’s first live albums and it features thirteen tracks that was apparently recorded in the summer of 1997 at Bridgetown’s premier nightspot, The Empire Ballroom and features some of her regular live favourites she’s still playing today including ‘Won’t Go Out’ and ‘You Ain’t No Big Thing Baby’.

Down Gina's At 3 CD/2LP

Down Gina's at 3 CD/LP

‘Come on in, put your cigarettes out and have a dance’ kicks off this reissue of Holly Golightly’s second live album which was originally released in 2004 on CD only on the Sympathy For The Record Industry label in the USA, now finally available on a double 12” LP vinyl for the first time and dusted down for a Digipak CD.

‘Down Gina’s At 3’ was recorded at the start of their US tour in 2004 and released by the end of it!

This is pretty much the line-up which recorded Holly’s classic ‘Truly She Is None Other’ album and features are Bruce Brand on Drums, Eric Stein on lead Guitar and Jack Lawrence on Bass. Ko And The Knockouts appear on the encore tracks.

Apparently just after the tape had run out there was a final encore and Jack White got up and did a stunning version of Louie Louie with the band. never mind eh!

Alright then. Tour dates are up now. Look forward to seein all you there. Lawyer gets to have his birthday in Austin which is much better than a birthday in Omaha. (no offense Omaha)

So come to the show, if you don't the turtle gets it.

Current mood:  insubordinate
Howdy folks, we got a US tour comin up from November 5 til Dec 12th, the usual places and a few Canadian dates even. Waiting on final confirmation of a few shows and then we'll post them right here. Hope you've had a good summer or at least a good supper.

That is all.

Due to immigration inefficiency, Holly's visa has been delayed, approved but delayed. The application was put in June 25th 2007 and not approved until Sept 10th. It will not be completely processed until the 14th, leaving Holly barely any time to get into the country. Hopefully these are the only shows affected by the bullshit.

We are extremely disappointed, horrified, and sorry. We hate to cancel and rarely have to but there was nothing we could do.

If you like, write your congressman to complain. This is an ongoing problem with many UK artists this year, a country we are supposed to be extremely allied with
