Its finally for real! A few months back we were approached by NRDC to create a few videos about global warming and the danger of arctic melting... Six Characters-style. Now, here they are in all their glory! What the heck do a bunch of silent comedians have to say about global warming? Well, believe it or not, we're all pretty fond of this planet. Its got cool things like ice cream and bumcheeks and surround sound and banana nut muffins. We're so into it, we decided to live here for a while. So it would totally depress us if our crappy New York apartment were to suddenly wind up underwater. And while we're on the subject of polar bears, we just want to say they are the most awesome animals next to monkeys. They are both the cutest most cuddly creatures in the world and also the deadliest kick-ass predators in the arctic region. They are the best of nature. We love them and respect them. Hooray Earth!

There's no doubt about it now, we're coming down to Orlando in just two weeks. We'll be posting here on a regular basis as we get closer to the Fringe Festival to keep everyone updated. ** We've got road cases! When you're traveling over 200 props and 150 costume pieces you've gotta have a system. We found this place that bought up old road cases from now defunct rock acts and tours. So if you smell vomit and heroin on us when we roll into town, that's just the lingering scent of Tommy Lee all over our stuff. ** We're rehearsing the show in this super hardcore industrial space out in "wild dog" Brooklyn. We keep trying to convince ourselves that we're rehearsing in Williamsburg, but its Bushwick all the way. But the space is huge, cavernous, and we can store and build our props there. Last week, this one guy walked by and started kicking the crap out of a tv that was abandoned on the street. Poor tv. All it ever wanted to do was entertain the nice people. ** The Fringe Preview Party was apparently awesome last on Monday night. We showed a video preview that you can watch on our site. www.sixcharacters.com/fringe. ** Speaking of videos, we just posted a reel of outtakes on our site, too! Six Characters: The Naughty Bits is up at www.sixcharacters.com/videos/naughty_bits.shtml** And speaking more of videos, we should have some BRAND NEW video pieces to show you soon. More news coming soon!

Hello to all our Friends, Fans, and Fringers out there! The Six Characters have had the pleasure to see Ricardo Garcia's Flamenco Con Fusion (2007 Orlando Fringe artist/show) here in NYC this past weekend. And let me say, keep your eyes open for this show in May! Flamenco Con Fusion was great fun, and inspired. Ricardo is an amazing guitarist & the music is wonderful! I had a great time at the show, and seriously, can't say enough about the music & dancing! This May if you are looking for a fun show to see that is a little something different from your typical night out at the theatre, check it out for yourself. They will be performing at the PURPLE Venue just like the Six Characters!
To Ricardo & Co. thank you for such a fun night!!
-Six Characters

Good afternoon.
In less than an month, fans from here will join others from around the world.
And you will be launching the largest fundraiser in the history of mankind. "Mankind." That word should have new meaning for all of us today.
We can't be consumed by our petty differences anymore. We will be united in our common interests.
Perhaps it's fate that the day we must save is Feb 28th. And you will once again be fighting for our freedom... Six Characters freedom.
Not from tyranny, oppression, or persecution... but from monetary annihilation.
We are fighting for our right to live. To exist. To throw pies. And should we win the day.
So, please mark it on your calendar, tattoo it on your private bits, tie a yellow ribbon 'round your middle finger.
SIX CHARACTERS: THE NAUGHTY BITS YOU HAVEN'T SEEN!!!!
The most important fundraiser you will go to this year. Feb 28th at 7pm at Fontana's. http://www.fontanasnyc.com/ $20 at the door - one free drink 8pm presentation of lost videos, bloopers and live commentary and other special surprises.
More information to follow.

Well, it's the middle of January and the Six Characters are as excited as ever for our trip the the Orlando Fringe.
This week we start putting everything together to get this show on the road. Tomorrow, we talk with Beth and the rest of the fringe staff for our conference call which will hopefully answer all of our unanswered questions like "What color van gets the best gas milage?"
We're pulling together our design team and crew which is proving more difficult than I expected. I mean who wouldn't jump at the chance to spend two weeks in Florida making theatre?!?!
Anyway, I can't wait... just a few months from now we'll be rocking your socks off!!

We dropped Jim on his coccyx in rehearsal on Saturday. No worries - he's okay but we felt super bad about it. We had to ice his butt. No kidding.
