Muutosten tuulet puhaltelevat Oratorion leirissä. Kitaristimme Ilpo on päättänyt jäädä pois Oratoriosta musiikillisten sekä henkilökohtaisten syiden takia.

Haluamme kiittää Ilpoa lämpimästi yhteisistä hetkistä musiikillisella retkellämme! Kaikkea hyvää ja menestystä toivottaen päästämme Ipen maailmalle uusien tuulien vietäväksi.

We have found the suitable bassplayer for Oratorio. He is Lauri Joutsiniemi from Jokela, Finland =)

As some of you may know, Lauri is one of the founders of Oratorio and he also played on O's first demos and in the first full-length album; Reality of Existence. After Reality-album he left the band for awhile, but now he came back ;)

God has done many wonderful things in Lauri's life, and I think that maybe in some point we all can hear his testimony.

Finally, we had an opportunity to play with proper bassist after a long time. This guy seemed to handle our songs quite well :)

I'm very happy to tell you that Oratorio has now a new drummer, and the guy's called VEIKKO KURKI and he's  from Vantaa, Finland. Veikko is a positive person, and he seems to have (at least for now:) nice attitude in life and sense of humor. Suits for this band =)

We are very excited to see how things will now go forward, hoping also that soon we'll find the bassplayer too. So that we would be, God willing, able to perform as a full line-up again for the God's glory.

Hello!


I'm very happy to say that we have now a drummer that is very, very, very most likely the next drummer of Oratorio. We had rehearsals again and playing with this guy is very smooth, although there are little things that need more practising. But hey - we all need that ;-)

I'll give you the drummers name later ..

We are still looking for new bassplayer too. Haven't seen any of  'em nearby. Have you .. ? =)

Hi everyone!



We have been a little silent recently, and that's because we are still looking for new bass player and drummer. There's been a few candidates for both of the vacancies, but from different reasons we haven't been able to make a decision - yet.

Our site updating is little slow right now, none of us has enough time to take good care of it. Here in our MySpace will be more recent information, this a lot more easier way to write some greetings (at least for me.)

More details will be revealed hopefully soon.

Hi!

We had an opportunity to play some Oratorio-songs with a new drummer candidate. All went quite well, although the guys experience level of playing oratorio's music was very small. We rehearsed 3 newer songs from album "Redemption".

We have some other volunteers, we'll check them out too somehow.

God willing, I hope that we will be soon able to continue training properly.

Hello!

Our long-time drummer Janne has left the band because of his difficult schedule of work. He's a pilot now in a flight company, so he thought that it is best for him to leave the band. His schedule of work is very unpredictable too, so he wasn't able to promise to play the gigs we were asked to perform.

But we are very happy that Janne got the job and we wish him all the God's blessings! :)

Also our long time guitarist Jarmo has decided to leave the band too. He'll be working as a priest in Padasjoki (Finland), and this means that he has a job that binds him to be at work usually on weekends. This is very difficult for the band because the gigs and rehearsals are taking place mainly on weekends.

Jarmo has not completely quit Oratorio, he's remaining as a honour-member and will be helping the band in some other way :)

So, Oratorio is looking for new members now. You will be informed when the band has the new members.

Tosiaan, on tapahtunu vähä muutoksia bändin sisällä. Tässäpä nyt jotakin infoa.

Meidän pitkäaikainen rumpali Janne päätti lopettaa bändissä, koska hänen työaikataulut ovat niin arvaamattomia. Janne on siis nykyään lentäjänä, ja töihin saattaa joutua toisinaan menemään jopa päivän varotusajalla. Siksi Janne tuumasi, että on parempi lopettaa kun kerta ei pysty sanomaan työaikatauluja reilusti etukäteen. Tämä olisi ollut vaan erittäin vaikeeta tulevaisuudessa kun keikkojakin pitäisi puukata. Bändillä ei siis oo mitää skismaa asian tiimoilta, vaan me muut ollaan ilosia (ja ehkä vähä kateellisia) siitä että Janne pääsi hyvään työhön. Ja niin on varmasti Jannekin :D

Tästä sitten päästäänkin siihen, että meillä on nyt rumpali hakusessa! Joten: jos olet henk.koht. uskon Jeesukseen omaava henkilö joka osaat soittaa vähintään yhtä hyvin rumpuja kuin Janne, niin lähetä mailia:

Ja lisää muutoksen tuulia. Toinen pitkäaikainen jäsenemme Jarmo on siirtymässä pastorishommiin Padasjoelle. Tämä tarkottaa siis sitä, että näin pappismiehenä Jarmollakin on viikonlopputöitä joten treenaaminen ja keikkaaminen hänenkin osalta vaikeutuu sen verran että mies päätti siirtyä sivuun. Mutta Jarmo kuitenkin säilyy bändissä eräänlaisena kunniajäsenenä, ja aivan varmasti nakitamme Jarmoa sitten puhumaan keikoille kun samalle kylälle satutaan :)

Yksi asia vielä: basisti on myös lähtenyt ja muuttunut kitaransoittajaksi.

Ja haemme myös basistia! Mielellään oikeeta basistia, joka tykkää vieläpä soittaa heviä. Ottakaatten yhteyksiä:
