Dear Susan G. Komen for the Cure® Facebook Cause Supporters:
Did you know that cancer will soon be the leading killer of women and men worldwide? Already, cancer kills more people annually than malaria, tuberculosis and HIV/AIDs combined.
Last year, 7.6 million people died from cancer. By 2020 that number will double, and by 2030 cancer will account for over 17 million deaths – mostly in poor and developing countries.
Please join us in calling on the world’s governments to make cancer a global priority. Help us to mobilize global action in the fight against cancer.
Visit http://www.includecancer.org to sign this petition today!
Make your voice heard in our global fight...

The Tigers and Inge Family have been great supporters of the Komen Detroit Race for the Cure®. Now it is time to return the favor! Vote by 4 p.m. ET TODAY for Brandon Inge who has been selected as a nominee for the 2009 All-Star Game Sprint Final Vote!
VOTE NOW: http://mlb.mlb.com/mlb/events/all_star/y2009/fv/ballot.html Brandon Inge's resurgence at the plate has played a major role in putting the Tigers in first place in the American League Central. Now, Tigers fans have a chance to return the favor by putting him in the All-Star Game! Though Inge didn't crack the initial roster for the Midsummer Classic, ....Detroit....'s slick-fielding, power-hitting third baseman is one of five American League players up for the lone remaining roster spot in the Sprint Final Vote. It'll be one more chance to put in a player that his manager and teammates agree deserves to go for the first time in his career.
PLUS, vote for Inge on the 2009 All-Star Game Sprint Final Vote ballot and you'll be automatically entered to win a Brandon Inge autographed bat!
You can also vote directly from your Sprint mobile phone. Mobile voting is exclusive to Sprint, Nextel, and Boost subscribers. To see the complete ballot from your mobile phone, text VOTE to 1122. Standard rate messaging fees apply, please check with your carrier. Voting ends Thursday, July 9 at 4:00 p.m. ET.
