Since its April 21st release, 3,000 downloads.. Not bad.

Now we treat every day like its its release date.

Here's the streamer for the Album, and coming up May4th, Shake The Hand is throwing the official Release party for FOLLOW.THE.LEADER.

I wanted to have the release party after the actual release becasue I don't people to Not be familar with the music and myself - how could I expect anyone to come? So far people are pretty excited about it all.

     Everyone,


Lately I've been just floating around. Shows here and there with U-N-I, Busta, Paul Wall, Devin The Dude, Ron Browz. Beiing in and out of the studio whenever I catch a feeling. Now after listening to everything I've recorded in the last however long, now I can finally put out a project. Unlike the last project, Fresh Hell, I feel like this is something I actually tried on. Though do I Love Fresh Hell, for my progression's sake as an artist, this next project is something I needed to do. What I realized is, even while recording Fresh Hell, all my favorite MCs went through this same transition at one point. From a lyricist to a song maker/writer. All the greats, from Pac and B.I.G., to Jigga and Esco; all found a way to merge that hungry lyricism with SONGS. And with that, you get FOLLOW THE LEADER.

Of Course "NightLife" is the lead single off of the project. And at this point, I feel like all my "competition" is in this whole "showing love" phase. No one wants to (nor can they as far as I'm concerned) just come out and say "NIGGA, I'M DOPE". Everyone seems to be pretty timid. So fuck it, Follow The Leader. And I say that with a big ass "You can't fuck with me" smile on my face.

On FOLLOW THE LEADER I worked with U-N-I, Flying Lotus, Skeme, Mickey Factz as well as some of the my closest and most talented friends. As soon as we tighten up the tracklist and artwork I'll put it up.

I like to keep what inspires me to myself. Not to be selfish, but for me to draw the right water from the well, I have to at least feel like the well is exclusive to me.
I visit this site (http://www.fashiontoast.com) everyone once in a while just to shake up things in my head. Aside from the fact that she's one of thee flyest female that I've seen, I admire her eye.
