East Village Podcasts interviewed Lick Lick right after our CMJ showcase. There's also footage of Male Pattern Drunkassness from that nights show.

BTW -- you should all go play in New York, it's fun.

So, as you can see from the dates below we are doing a very quick, yet mighty tour of Japan. With a lot of help from our best friends the Emeralds, as well as our label Australian Cattle God Records, and some key kindness from Benton in Tokyo, The Beaches, and lots of other folks we have managed to book 5 gigs in 7 days in 5 different cities! We will play in Tokyo-Yoyogi, Kobe, Nagoya, Tokyo-Shinjuku, and Yokohama. Please go check our web-site licklick.org for previews of the shows, as well as updates from the tour (we will blog as much as we can!)

Also, Rhapsody is now offering DRM free Mp3 downloads of our record, and I happen to be a huge rhapsody fan, so please consider clicking here and buying our record (going to japan is very expensive....)

So, among other things

...like getting to play with fishbone (2 weeks from yesterday) one day after their first new CD in 6 years gets released on their first austin show in 5 years...

...like getting to play with the awesome pong in early may

...like being psyched for our second Houston gig (at Rudyard's)

We have been hard at work in the studio with Tim Gerron. So far we are close to finishing up 7 tracks, and have plans to go back and work up 5 more. Sounds like a full length CD to me...

In anticipation of having these 12 songs done, we are also focussing very hard on our next batch of song-writing. Thus far we are working on "new new song" as well as "new song."

Leave a comment if you like hearing about this sort of stuff. If not, I'll stop.
