As always the Open was a blast this year and to top it off Stratton got hit 16'' of new snow over the weekend. The storm slowed down the Slopestyle course on Friday but not enough to hold back Travis Rice who ended up taking 1st place. Shaun White killed the halfpipe with multiple 1080's each run giving him another 1st place to drop in his pocket. Vermont's own Kelly Clark took 1st in women's pipe throwing down some of the biggest airs ever. Stay tuned to Snowvision.com
for the new clips we took at the Open.

So most of you must know that the illest snowboarding event is the US Open of Snowboarding and yeah, it's taking place next week! March 12th – 18th sticking true to it's roots, will be held at Stratton Mountain Resort in Vermont. This is the 25th anniversary of the Open and St. Patty's day weekend so you can guarantee that heads will be throwing down both on and off snow, it's gunna be sick!

The North East finally got hit with our well deserved dumping! The Mountains have been getting hit hard the past couple of weeks some reporting close to 10 feet in the past 4 weeks. Whiteface, NY reported 33" last weekend and Stowe, VT got hit with over 3 feet in for days. The perfect snow combined with the perfect temperatures and virtually no wind, some say it was the best weekend yet this season. Our crew hit the Stowe both Saturday and Sunday non-stop. Late afternoon Sunday after all the trails were torn up we kept lapping the park for about 2 hours until the lifts closed. If you haven't been to Stowe this season they lack a half pipe but made up for it with some huge table tops, quarter pipes, hips and plenty of rails to play on. Well hopefully you aren't a weekend warrior and your out on some hill right now unlike me. See you on the mountain this weekend!
