The full timing schedule for the whole weekend has now been fixed.  You can view the schedule here.  On the site you can also download the schedule.

Flash Jams:

The Flash Jam timings and route has also been announced.  On the same page linked above you'll find a link to download a flash jam info pack.  This pack has information on the structure, timings and routes from one jam spot to the next.  This is a world first, and we're hoping to get lots of footage to document it!

Friday Night - Battlejam - Free entry!:

It's a real shame that we didn't have anything for the convention goers on Friday night.  Well, we didn't.  But now we do!  Beardyman's infamous Battlejam is taking place at Cargo on Friday 10th April.  This is free to attend!!!  We're officially telling all 18+ convention goers to head for this fantastic night.  More info here.

We've finally managed to get some info for you all.  As some of you may be aware, we've been given about half as much time as last year's convention at the Southbank Centre.  So, with that in mind, we've had to get creative!

We hope you will all enjoy what's planned, and that we can make the best of a situation that almost stopped there being a Boxcon09 altogether!

So, what are we talking about?  How about Flash Jams, tube jams, open mics/showcases from Humanism of Japan/Alien Dee of Italy and more, a private party on Saturday night just for you guys, and a closing concert featuring the likes NYC's Adam Matta and Ommm from France!

Wait a sec, what's a flash jam?  I want more info.

The Boxcon website is now updated with further info on the whole weekend.  We'll get more info out asap!

Please note that not everyone that applies will get a slot.  Preference is given to those traveling from abroad due to the fact they're outlaying higher expenses to come!

We're pleased to announce that audio software company Ableton has joined forces with us! We shall be treated to a workshop on using Ableton Live for beatbox performance by none other
than Ableton sponsored artist Kid Beyond! Once we've got a grasp on how he uses the software, Kid Beyond will perform a 60 min set as a grand finale to this year's event.

As if this isn't good enough to make us melt, we've also got Ableton t-shirts, record bags and demos to give away! But you know what? The International Beatbox Convention is back!

Boxcon08 will take place 18-20 April 2008, at the Southbank Centre, London, UK. More details will be released as things move forward. Keep your eyes peeled on the official Beatbox Convention website for updates.
