Hey all, check out the clip of 15:35 from the upcoming album 'Viscera'. Translation Loss should have this out mid-October. We'll be adding new clips from the album in the coming months. Being that most of these tracks are extremely 'epic', we can't fit entire songs on here for listening, so clips will have to do. Enjoy.

check 'em out. these are pics of us taken by our friend and fellow musician nic le ban at our studio recently while listening with jarboe to some rough mixes of the new album.

The new Byla/Jarboe album, which will be titled "Viscera", is near completion. The album will contain 5 tracks ranging from 2 1/2 to 20 minutes and from serene acoustic beauty to completely suffocating heaviness. The instrumentation is still just guitar and voice. Also making a special guest appearance on one track will be guitarist Mick Barr of Orthrelm/Octis/Ocrilim. We are looking at an August 2007 release date via Translation Loss Records. A vinyl version is also part of the plan. Once mastering takes place we will upload some clips for you to hear.

hey all, so progress is being made on the upcoming record w/ jarboe. her vocals have been done for some time but the guitars needed to be re-recorded. colin redid the guitars through a massive wall of amps in the new studio with mics placed everywhere from 1 inch to 3 rooms away, creating quiet a huge atmosphere and otherworldly swarm of overtones. next up are my guitar tracks, which we look to start on this week. this material is quiet different from the first byla disc. so be prepared! it's way more intense.
in other news. we've finished up our track for the italian compilation "nocturne" for photographer francesco brunotti. our song is called "bloodrush". i'll try and post the track on here once it's mastered.
our contribution/collaberation with fear falls burning is finished. look for that to come out sometime next year on double vinyl.
