Info:
Tom Real & The Rogue Element Present Disco Of Doom EP 1
Passenger Records:

Rising out of the belly of the underworld comes Disco of Doom, the brand new project from award-winning production and DJ duo Tom Real & The Rogue Element. Spawned from the depths of their monthly on-demand show on leading internet radio station Samurai FM, everything brought forth from the loins of this duo will for ever more bear this accursed name.

The Disco Of Doom is a place of unspeakable depravity from whence, once every cycle of the moon, Tom and Rogue deliver a twisted monthly mix featuring nought but the most reprobate of new releases, filthy new productions from their very own Dungeon of Doom, and exclusive guest mixes from other degenerates who are inspiring the duo or who are just well, rocking tings up proper.

Now the duo have signed a pact with the forces of darkness (AKA Passenger Records) and the time has come to prepare yourselves for the debut Disco Of Doom EP, which is imaginatively titled EP 1 as it is the first of many of Satan's wild love tools of destruction and will be unleashed amongst you mere mortals this September.

With the vinyl release featuring two tracks kicking off with The Click a ragga-tinged, acid drenched, drum'n'bass inspired weapon of darkness ably abetted by Loud & Clear on the flip featuring a well-known UK radio star of the 80s on vocals and a breakdown to send you into hell without a return ticket. Mwwoooo haaa haaa haaa etc.

If you're rolling with the new school the digital release will also feature a very special Fucking Zombie Remix of lead track The Click which sees Tom and Rogue get fruity with the bass and reworking the beats to deliver an alternative ending, a 'happy' finish if you will.

As if this were not enough, quake helplessly and soil yourselves at the prospect of back2back Disco Of Doom DJ dates as the pair depart on a quest with but one purpose - to devastate dance floors across the UK, Europe and beyond.... you are all well and truly doomed!

Current mood:  accomplished
Big ups to the Dim Sum guys for putting on the Passenger Records boat party t'other week in a sunny London (well, apart from the rain!) doubling up as the album launch party for The Body Snatchers debut 'Feeling Good, Looking Nice, Smelling Right' (in shops 30th June kids www.aquasky.co.uk) and selling out three weeks upfront, it was always going to be a belter! We unleashed the Disco Of Doom alongside Brent & Dave from Aquasky who brought The Ragga Twins along for the hype as well as The Body Snatchers who performed with MC Frilla and Backdraft who brocked out the good ship at the end. Quality party, choice photos up top.. even though the theme was Pimps, you can tell we were all secretly thinking 'Used Car Dealers'

Fast forward a week and we've just properly unleashed the beast with a headline slot at The End on Friday 13th, we couldn't have picked a better date or location! A little slow to start, the club soon filled up during a sick set from Punks Jump Up when Me and The Rogue took over and smashed things up proper. A proper good set, we think we did ok smashing out a selection of techno, electro and wonky disco. Definite big tunes are Popof's Remix 2 of 'MotherFuckinBass' which set the club bonkers! Great reactions for 'Drop It To The Floor, the new project from Herve, Sinden and Fake Blood. Rogue Element's new single 'Sidewinder' also smashed things up proper.

We recorded the set and will feature it next month as part of Disco Of Doom, we've also got loads of pics and even did a video interview for EQ TV which we'll add when they get theys shit together YO.

Anyway, it's Sunday and my head hurts from last night so I'm going to leave it at that!

Current mood:  catalyzed
We kicked off our Disco Of Doom DJ shows this weekend with a double header of pure pain starting at Insomnia in Newcastle that even though started off looking a little thin on the ground soon packed out to be a fucking evil party. Big ups to The Filthy Habit DJs & Loz Speculum for the crack on… hope you guys' didn't get in any trouble after we left....

Second up for the weekend was Hoodoo @ Stealth in Nottingham which was a return gig for The Real and a debut for The Rogue and the Disco Of Doom. Following on from Elite Force on the main dance floor to a packed room we laid down the law for two whole frickin' hours through a crisp Funktion 1 rig dropping raw filth from all corners incljuding tracks from the new Disco Of Doom EP (sounding PHAT!) and tracks like Popof's sxick MutherFuckinBass Remix, Rekorder's latest '00', Fake Blood's new single 'Mars' and much much more …Nottingham we salute you!

This week sees us rock out at the Passenger Records boat party on Friday alongside Aquasky, The Body Snatchers who will be launching their debut artist album 'Feeling Good, Looking Nice, Smelling Right' (available June 16th on Passenger Records kids) Backdraft, the excellent Ragga Twins and Dim Sum residents… it's already sold out so no chance of tickets if you've not already bought but we'll be taking loads of footage for you to upload in coming weeks!

Watch out for the official London debut of Disco Of Doom on Friday 13th June (we couldn't have planned the date better if we tried!) at Chew The Fat at The End we're we'll be headlining alongside Punks Jump Up!
