What up peoples!! As you can see there isn't a photo of a drummer on our site, Flaky mo fos are in abundance nowadays. I did not write the last blog, that was Scott giving himself a pat on the back. As you can see, He  didn't have what it took to be in an active band. Thanx for the jams...NO THANX for the waste of time. Lil e is back to lend a much needed hand on a few key shows. Manîas is currently seeking out a TOURING drummer, no bullshit, no drama. We have opportunities this & next year of Boston, New york, Florida dates as well as northern west coast thru California. Hit us up.

First and foremost, thanks to everybody that showed up to support Anal Blast, End To End, Fields of Elysium and Desolate Creation.  It’s always an honor sharing the stage with top of the line musicians and awesome people.  It was a night full of technical musicianship and killer sets.  SICK!

As you noticed, we had a new drummer behind the kit last night.  We’d like to welcome Scott Elliott as the new addition to Manias.  We feel he’ll be a great addition and asset to the band and look forward to playing many shows together.

Keep your eyes open and be ready becuase MANIAS just might be coming to a town near you to tear it up!

I have been working on making the site provide that which Myspace cannot give, & U tube users can't find. so check it out for tour photos, blog, & othere goodies including an ordering page for our much demanded merch. The DVD footage (at least half) will be up on that site soon, end of Sept latest. Thanx to all who go to our shows & support by buying a cd shirt or picking up a free sticker or 2. Nick Linke, ex Victimas bassist is now a full time member of the Manîas crew. Check out his writing style on the forthcoming Salé Sangre/Fortre$$ of Victory split cd. We are honored to have such an accomplished bassist/songwriter on our team!! Also Manîas would like to welcome "JU" back to the foree. It has been a while, Ju had some unfinished business to tend to, but has promised he will be a full time member again. We are proud to welcome him back.

Last March we recorded some footage for a DVD release. Well the Video part came out fuct up, so we ask you, our listening audience to help out & partake of this years B-day bash & DVD filming. The location hasn't been worked out yet. We will attempt to use the 15 to 20 min. worth of editable footage from last years @ the Compound for bonus feature. thanx to all who attended & this year March 10, will be a day for history!! Free give aways as usual!! & a brand new cd will be unveiled that night!! Also we will NOT be using the same video guy this year!!! Get back to you sooon!!!

Check out the vid clips of Daniel & Nick tearing it up in the studio. We are recording 10 songs, 2 of which are re-dos, "Decadent Immortality-Avulsion" was originally recorded in 1995, re-done last week, sounds are brutal as fuck, "Raped in Faith" originally recorded in 2004 for our "...and Blood Soaked the World." full length is being beefed up.the list of tunes being recorded in the session will be posted soon along with new tracks playable.                  Drew Manîas
