On June 11th 2009, The Art of Elysium with Eva Mendes, unveiled the new Cartier Love Bracelet benefiting AOE!

On January 12, 2008, The Art of Elysium celebrated ten years of servicing hospitalized children at "Heaven", a black tie dinner for 575 people sponsored by Cartier, Ford and Vogue. "Heaven" was a wonderful success raising close to $1,000.000.00.

In connection with this event, 84 pieces of art were donated for auction by artists, dealers and private collectors. "Pieces of Heaven" is a continuation of our ten year anniversary celebration, and we will be auctioning all of the donated artwork at Christie's in Beverly Hills. 100% of the proceeds benefit The Art of Elysium! Our goal for the evening is to sell all of the artwork.

The Preview Period for the Auction will be from Monday, June 23rd to Thursday, June 26th and the Auction will take place on Thursday, June 26th.

Dear Potential Volunteers:

Thank you so much for your interest in The Art of Elysium. Below is some information about the charity.

The Art of Elysium provides many unique programs throughout children's hospitals and healthcare facilities in the community. We believe that access to artistic experiences helps distract pediatric patients from the difficulties and anxieties they may face, while caring guidance from adult artist-mentors encourages and facilitates mastery of skills, increases self-esteem and promotes healthy development in spite of medical challenges.

Our goal is to provide each artist and volunteer we work with the preparation and training necessary to provide an emotionally and physically safe environment for each child to express himself. We acknowledge each volunteer and artist's skill, talent and knowledge and we aim to provide the guidance needed to integrate these gifts into meaningful experiences for children, their families and you.
