Appologies first of all for being slack on myspace recently , your messages and comments have gone un-answered and i feel eternally guilty for that , its not that we don't care and we will strive to improve!
So on thursday at midnight tour started for us , we met our friends KIGH at music box in Cardiff , loaded the gear into the bus that will be home for the next 2 weeks and left for Birmingham . It was awesome to catch up with them and we had a few sneaky drinks to celebrate the start of the tour.
The first show in Birmingham was so much fun! So many friends in one venue KIGH , FFAF, Fightstar , Out of sight, Young Guns . The show itself was immense, we were so surprised by how many people were there at 6pm! the rest of the night was messy to say the least! When we left Birmingham at 2am we were 2 men down , both of which had to make their own way to Coventry the next day haha
Halloween , Coventry , hottest venue on the planet! We only played 6 songs and by the time we came off stage we were all dripping wet. Appologies for not dressing up, we will offer no lame excuses , just laziness on our part. Kudos to those who made the effort!
Next day was a day off , i was one of very few who hadn't partied the night before so was without hang over . Result ! Spent most of the day drinking coffee and gambling , watched some football , had a mighty fine curry and watched some films.
Middlesbrough is a cold one and there is no shower in the venue :( . We are joined today and for the next 4 shows by Tiger Please (
www.myspace.com/tigerplease) . Awesome band , lovely guys. Their new release is getting amazing reviews and its totally justified, check it out! For some reason the day dragged on and on but it was worth it , the show was class, nice circle pit :D . A quick load out and straight off to Aberdeen , apparently its a long drive
Aberdeen is, as it always is, very grey! I always love playing there tho so expectations are high today . The crowd took a while to wake up but by the end the vibe was cool and we were all happy. Another messy night of drinking and a 4am bus call . This time we are all on the bus on time and no-one gets left behind . Some have lost at the casino some have won , i of course am a winner , black 13 FTW !!!
We wake up in Edinburgh , a little tired, a little hungover but full of anticipation for what promises to be a wicked show tonight . Edinburgh is my favorite place to visit in the UK and today it looks as beautiful as ever . Lets hope we can do this city justice tonight!
