We haven't put up any blog news in a while, so we just thought we might
drop a few lines. We sincerely hope that all of our SAP fans and family
are doing well!


SAP has had some difficult times in the last months, our families have
experienced some losses, Jaxxx's father passed in January, Rob having
lost his father not that long back, lost an aunt shortly after Jaxxx's
father, and Tommy's father has also been hospitalized and not doing
well. So SAP can definitely use the love, positive vibes and any
prayers...

Everyone has been supportive and great, we truly thank you all.

In other news, we realize our release of new music has been extremely
slow, but we assure you that we are working diligently to get songs
mixed and mastered, and that when we finally get the finished product
out it is going to be well worth the wait.

SAP is going through a lot of changes and conflicts lately, so bear
with us, and don't forget us...

We would still love to hear from anyone
who needs an opening band, or would like to book with us. We'll be glad
to talk to you.


Don't Worry About A Thing, Because SAP Will Always Be Here, Falling All Around And We Just Kinda Stick To You!

What's up everyone!

Just a quick blog note to keep you posted on what's sappening!

We've been busy, still of course trying to finish up our new CD... we'll keep you up-to-date on that.

We've got a couple of GIG dates to remind you about, as noted on the Calendar, We'll be at The Stage Stop (2951 Cela Rd, Memphis 38128) on June 14th as well as July 5th! Both of those are Saturday nights.

June 14th, we'll be playing with "Virginia Grant" and "Who Framed Sam", $5.00 at the door.

July 5th, as far as I know we'll be playing all by ourselves, more than one set, so we appreciate your support, come on out! Unsure about the cover charge on that one.

Well guys, it's nearly June... 2008 is zipping by fast.

Just to let you know, our recording is still going very well and we will hopefully have a new Shiny Fantastic Fat CD for your listening pleasure VERY SOON... we're still finishing up, and have to get it completed (Mixed down etc), but we're getting there.

This one is going to be bigger and badder than the last featuring around 20 tracks. Wow... That's what's taking so long, we're really trying to give it our all.

Aside from that, we're having a Show at the Stage Stop in Memphis TN on June 14, 2008 (that's on a Thursday Night). Come on out and jam with us!!

Hello everybody, we haven't posted in a while so we thought we would touch base.

Our recording has been going very well. We still have some work to do on the new CD, but we are extremely excited and anxious to get the new material within earshot of everyone...

The first CD we made had only 8 songs, this one has enough material to fill up two CDs. That's pretty good for a band that is thus far "unsigned"!

We hope to be finishing things up soon, but until then, everyone please give us a listen, and watch for upcoming gigs... you never know where you might see SAP!!!

Also, we are still on some of the locals shows on the radio around such as "The Great Unsigned", and "Locals Only"... Listen for us!

We know it's been a little frustrating, you want a SAP CD, but you don't know "how to get it", right?? Aside from trying to let us know and getting it directly, there are no options on our site... yet. Well, good news, CD Baby is set-up, and we are not far from having the option to purchase our songs from CD Baby directly. Once this is finalized, I'll get it up and available on our MySpace as well as Our Website and then you can purchase and enjoy our music in true quality.


Oh, FYI--We've been writing new material like mad lately, and we'll probably be recording again very soon, so that means even more delicious SAP tunes for your listening enjoyment... Stay tuned, and keep rockin! -SAP

We'll have CDs ready for sale this next week. $5 free shipping. Shrink Wrapped, ready and SOUND GREAT!!. Big difference for those of you hearing the 20K version on MySpace.

Most have yet to hear the GREAT sound we got as we recorded--did all the tracking ourselves. Then, the mixing/mastering was done at Sun Studios, Memphis TN!

Also, don't forget to see us at Kudzu's Bar and Deli on July 14th if you're in the Memphis area.

Just haven't posted anything here in a while... We were played tonight on the Rock 103 "Great Unsigned" for the first time... they hit us up about 11:00 p.m., with our song "Graceful Exit". Always cool...

Coming up we have Tuesday June 5th at Kudzu's, and we might be doing that every Tuesday, as well as possibly one of the Open Mic nights over at Mo's Memphis Originals up until our Big June 22nd opening for Eric Gales... that's pretty cool.
