yo! yo!?
where are the interrobangs (look it up) on the keyboard? anyone? cause that's what i would have used at the end of the title in this particular narrative. punctuation awesome or not?
the case for: yes. for one thing they have the coolest names, such as the aforementioned interrobang, ampersand (my personal favourite), asterik, circumflex, apostrophe, hyphen, tilde, etc. also if it is used correctly it can greatly add to whatever you're trying to convey! see...
the case against: not it just meens i has to study + learn more taking up valueable space in me brain that i can use to remember other stuff stuff like where i is left me keys + or wot i have planned for 2morro n so on and if u use it in wrong place people could be critical of u txt msging rulz
and the winner by a landslide:
for!!! punctuation is totally copasetic. bam!

rubik's cubed 33.69 seconds. my personal best on the famed rubik's cube. the trick is not to follow the layer-by-layer method, this will just cost you time as you keep doing then undoing sides... sloooooowly getting there. i used the Petrus method for that personal best, conceived by Lars Petrus. though he himself has obliterated that time having won the Swedish Championships and coming fourth in the 1982 World Championships, during the hey-day of the sport (do you mind if i call it a sport?). ... you don't speak much do you? ... a bit of the silent type... mysterious... i can't shut myself up when i'm stoned. i'll just talk complete and utter shit, and i'll know it at the time but can't help myself and will just keep talking and going off on complete tangents. each to their own i suppose... go on say something. ... remember that time we had a race from the pub all the way home, at 4 am. all the shortcuts we took, running through apartment block backyards, scaling small cliff faces, jumping over fences (and that one where the dog chased us though the backyard). trying to jump between rooftops. fuck that was funny. ha!Ha!HA!haaa ... and then when we finally got back, tired as all hell, we just got some beers and sat on the roof. watching the shooting stars and relaxing. until J got home about half hour later and brought out the tequila and shot glasses. convincing us that we needed to go back out into the city to find some bar that was open. back at the judgie, where you're always welcome unless you are obviously too messed up. he!he! ... yo-yos. they were cool back in the day as well. had all sorts but my favourite were the old-school coke ones. never did get too good at those. well, not as good as at the rubik i suppose... how about that weird eye poster at Tysons party that one time. man i'd hate to be the paranoid type. that guy what's his name? you know the one. t something... tiii... taaa... trroo... ... Aidan, thats it, Aidan! man he was freaking out big time. remember that? the scottish guy. you know him. he was at that warehouse party in chippendale as well. the party with the giant plastic chairs. he tried to pick up Shelby, the canadian girl, just before freaking out and that in turn freaked her out a bit. she spent rest of night just avoiding him. haaaa good times, good times! ... ...

1806, the shoot
she had a fading tattoo on her upper right arm of a rose surrounded by nine leaves. posing in that corset like someone who had somehow lost themselves in time, harking to a bygone era where women (ladies, girls, femmes, whatever you want to call them) would wear corsets. that is, if they were anyone in society they would wear corsets. her breasts being thrust out at anyone around as though they were begging for attention, and this they did get. though most were discreet in their furtive gazes at said cleavage. in the next scene she would be posing as a mermaid. she was glad of this fact, at least she would be able to breathe properly then. 'how could they do it back then.' she pondered 'i mean most women back in those days had a bit more meat as well and weren't waif thin as most models these days.' a few more slight adjustments to her pose, a wicked smile coming across her face for the camera. 'fuck it!' she thought 'the money was definitely worth a few moments of agony. plus it did make her feel sexy.' -'now turn to your left and tilt your head back a bit' he said to her. -d

fireflies i used to catch fireflies when younger, there was this paddock out by my grandparents farm where they could be found after dusk every night during summer. my cousins, friends and i would spend a lot of fun times there in this expanse by the edge of the woods. coniferous trees lining the edges and therefore our boundaries as we wouldn't dare venture into the woods after dark. even though during daytime running, hiding and playing in them posed no problem, with our homemade swords and slingshots we'd fight off invading enemies and keep them off our kingdom. always after that one more victory before summers end. we'd bring jars on those summer nights, with a piece of material and a rubber band serving as lids, to use as holders for the fireflies wed catch. these would be our castle lanterns, lighting up when the fireflies mixed their luciferin, luciferase and adenosine triphosphate with oxygen. our castles were four metres high, made up of stacked bunches of rolled up vines (like hay rolls. we even had two haystacks in the distance which were our outposts) that our grandparents would keep all year round after pruning their numerous vineyards. we would then climb our way to the top and arrange the battlement with alternating single stack merlons and crenels. raining our arrows down from in-between the merlons at the advancing army with our homemade bows. not once during all those years did we lose a battle. we were unconquerable, the product of too much imagination given free reign on those great outdoors we made into our own worlds. running wild, hurting ourselves once in a while only to get up again and run some more.

blimps!
falling out of blimp with no parachute. what can i say? it's not a hobby!
here is the message i'd received just an hour or so earlier:
'eu tenho a sorte de uma pessoa que vai cair de costa e quebrar o nariz.'
attached was another piece of paper with a much longer coded message, also in Portuguese. by the time I figured it all out I f i had minutes to react. so here i am falling out of a blimp with no parachute.

Audrey and I
we go way back. we met on the set of one of her movies, 'Roman' something or other, back in 1953. i'd like to think it was love at first sight, she was just the most strikingly beautiful girl i had ever seen. all was happy and rosy for a while, we travelled the globe together, we partied (oh! did we ever), we dinned, we danced, we romanced. then inexplicably a few months into it the headaches started, just mild migraines at first. i'd forget some time, just completely miss it, a few minutes a day first. gradually these migraines started getting painful and intense. i could go missing for days then, eventually days dragged into weeks, months and then years. i was still as young as ever as though i was travelling through time, not just passing out with the headaches to wake up later. this doomed our romance. for the first decade or so we'd still meet up and hang out but... things change. when we met she was twenty three and i twenty four. but by 1966, the last time we met, she was all of thirty six while i remained as though still in my mid twenties. this could not go on, it was just to bizarre and weird. i went through a deep stage of depression after the moment finally arrived when we made said decision, but it was for the best. i could not love again while people around me were aging and dying at a much faster pace. not as i watched them die (or so i thought) right before my eyes. i was afraid to get close to anyone. so i moved to london, hung out with Brian and Jimi mostly back at Edith in Chelsea. that time was also a haze, in more ways than one, even my waking moments then were on some drug and so flew by just klike all the other time i was missing. last time these migraines occurred was a few years ago. i registered my birth in 1977 and am going from there. i am 28 years old at the moment. i am ready to live for the now. -d(all apologies to Ms Audrey Hepburn, her family and fans)
