Hello all, sorry it's been kind of slow posting here.  The reason is because I've purchased a domain for the blog.  So now you can check out updates at least three times a week on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.  You can find them at www.TheConverseBlog.com.  So go check it out, new stuff up today, thanks!

Western Kentucky rolled out their new Jerseys and Apparel in a fashion show to announce their new deal with Russell.  The interesting thing was that the Men's Basketball Jerseys were shown with the Converse 099.  Could this be a sign that WKU will be wearing Converse next season?.  Well I had hoped so, but I found out from an inside source that it's still Nike.  Oh well, those shoes got there some how so maybe it's a step in the right direction.  I ;ve got a picture up over at www.conversencaa.blogspot.com , check it out, thanks, James

I was searching around the other day and stumbled on something I am not sure I can explain. For lack of a better term I am going to refer to these as Converse smashed up. Imagine if you will a shoe that combines at least 5 shoes in one. The Chuck Taylor All Stars, Weapons, Pro Leathers, Star Players, and possibly the Nylon Trainers. Then you would have the Converse Chucks Weappaylor.

I found this at www.eBay.de

For more pictures of the shoes that make up the Weaplayor check out my converse blog at Conversencaa.blogspot.com

Hi all, sorry it's been a while since I've posted anything.  I've been updating my Conversencaa.blogspot.com blog more often.  So I will try and give a quick update on what I've been saying.

Alando Tucker and Acie Law IV have both signed deals with Converse and wore the 099's during the summer league.

I've also found some interesting pictures of some new Converse shoes from www.TaoBao.com.

Current mood:  contemplative

Not really an update, but I just got back from Vacation in Orlando.  I hit up the Converse store in Lake Buena Vista.  Very nice selection and the prices were amazing.  This was the third Converse store I've been to since they started reopening them.  I've also been to stores in Las Vegas, NV and Williamsburg, VA.  There used to be Converse stores in Nashville, TN and Pigeon Forge, TN, I am hoping they open up new stores there soon.  There are quite a few of the stores out there but for a complete list visit www.converse.com.

A week or so ago there was press conference at Marquette and a lot of the people over at www.muscoop.com thought it was going to be about the rumored Converse deal.  However this was not the case, it was about coach Crean and family donating money to the new soccer stadium.  Oh well hopefully to hear something soon.

While I have gotten few more readers from the previous blogs, I still haven't got much feedback or ideas on how to continue.  Never the less I push on, which brings me to this update.

The Converse 099 has gone up at www.zappos.com.  From what I have heard this is the team shoe for next season.  Any teams going with Converse next year would be in this shoe.  Although I have seen pictures of a Team Wade 1.3 floating around, I haven't anything about them.

They retail for $75 and were worn by Kirk Hinrich, Jameer Nelson, Udonis Haslem, Kyle Korver, and other Converse NBA players.

Current mood:  creative

I know it seems slow around here, and it has been.  But a few interesting things have happened.

I want to start off by saying that I have started a blogspot.  You can find it over at conversencaa.blogspot.com.  I signed up for one and figured I should use it.  I don't think my post will be much different than what I post here though.

The next thing I want to talk about it is reaching the 1000 mark in friends.  I want to thank everyone of you that added me or accepted my friend request.  Being able to reach 1000 was pretty refreshing to me.

However I have realized that I really need your help.  I am open to any suggestions that you have and I am pretty much willing to try anything.  I feel that at this time I need a flyer or signature art for message board post.  So if anyone wants to make one I can post on here and we can all use them.

I really want this to be more than just me and I can't do that without you.  So hit me up and thanks in advance, James
