. Our hotel in Shepherds Lane, not so far from Hammersmith (West of London). The manager is a very nice indian man, and he speaks like Clint Eastwood at least would  He told us "you look too good to smoke" and, when my friend Yasmina (who is totally mad as she came with me. You girl rock! ) asked him if he found french arrogant, he answered "no more than Germans"!

Abbey hotel

. Carnaby Street is Disneyland for every fashion victims. I looooved B never too busy to be beautiful, in which you'll find make-up for oriental princesses, and lovely salesgirls who talk about your rings with you

Here is the link to order their funny stuffs on the web, I really love them (well, I think even their name is classy!): http://www.bnevertoobusytobebeautiful.com

. Whittard of Chelsea, delicious tea you can taste when you enter one of their shops, everywhere in London. There is one in the beautiful and lively market in Covent Garden.

. Starbucks. English people always have a take away coffee in their hands... But you also can drink your customized coffee comfortably sitten downstairs like we did in Oxford Circus, listening to jazzy music... Then you'll go with an enormous mug with Big Ben on it (I totally fell in love with Big Ben )

I took a caramel macchiato

Current mood:  pissed off

Went to London the 30th of March, and guess what? I didn't want to come back

The official goal was essentially to visit the city, but indeed, I think I would not have been to London before this summer if I hadn't learnt The Good, the Bad and The Queen were going to play in Hammersmith Palais, the lengendary place the song "White man in Hammersmith Palais" (oh, you uncultivated people, you don't know the Clash??? ) was about. And God, it was soooo great! But you'll have to wait, he he!

So I'm gonna tell you (and show you, got lots of pictures) about the trip, the gig, and an unexpected godlike apparition  (I still can't believe it), all that happened to me these 3 wonderful days. It will probably take time, cause I'm back in Paris for 2 weeks and my parent's computer is quite old, and I'm going to be busy for the next 2 weeks, but I'll do my best just for you

If you wanna have more details, I'm also making reports in french on my blog :

See you!

Well, I didn't want to post them one by one because I already showed some of them on other blogs I had... So here is my first slideshow! All the photos were taken by me (except the one with the Capitole, which was taken by my friend Cyline when I showed her the beautiful city where I live). Hope you'll like them!

Claude Nougaro is a famous french singer born in Toulouse (he unfortunately died 2004 ). I think the city we use to call "the pink city", la Ville Rose, in french, is still like he described it in the 1960s. So listen to the beautiful music, you're walking in Toulouse with me.
