over the last week jamie had been granted airplay with Star FM and Orchard FM jamie will be in devon on the 23rd July for a live interview with South Ham Radio at 2:30pm. The single will be on sale at the end of the summer 2007.

The local papers has been giving Jamie Lee support on the charity single for Cancer Research UK.

To all the kind supported people out there who has kindly helped me with this project for the Cancer Research UK Charity single.

The song I needed a Friend was written by me many years ago now for my Nan who Unfortunately passed away with Cancer. I seen the way she suffered and how my family was deaply wounded by this , and can imagine how other familys feel when they have to go thru this. I know with one song it wont change the lifes of everybody but i feel it would be nice to give back something to those who helped me and my Nan and family thru a tough time.

We are hoping to release this charity single in the late summer of 2007 if all goes to plan. After many talks with Dawn Harrison from Cancer Research UK, we decided I needed a friend would be a good song to choose for the release.

On the single there will be 3 Tracks all originals (I needed a friend , In My Heart) and a remix version of one of the songs. The CD will be going on sale near the late summer for £3.99.

The song if all goes well will be placed on myspace in the next 2 weeks for everyone to listen to and write their comments about the song.

Jamie lee will be recording his single over the next two weeks for Cancer Research UK. jamie will be releasing the single to help raise money for the charity.

After many talks with many charity companies , Jamie Lee is now ready to sign a contract with a known charity to release a single called ( I Needed a Friend ) to help raise money for the charity. please check here for more news over the next few weeks for more information on the single and the release date.
