i totally stole this from tyler wentz's profile but i feel that my friends who dont know him or know him but dont care need to red this. this is how tyler is and this is exactly the way i am too. im a freaking band geek. im gonna add/change some of this so dont get too mad at me tyler!!

My favorit activity is band which means im a bandgeek and if your in band and you dont know whether or not you are a bandgeek read this You might be a BAND GEEK if... 1. You're reading this, thinking you're a Band Geek. 2. You capitalize Band Geek. 3. You've created a website for your band. (that's gotta be the ultimate in band geekativity) 4. You enjoy marching. 5. You enjoy practicing. 6. You enjoy tuning. 7. You fall into step with random people in the hallway without realizing it. 7a. you get angry when you go to the mall because not everyone is in step. 7b youve tried to get into step with everyone at the mall. 8. You march down the hallway. 9. You consider the band hall your home. 10. You refer to your house as "that place where I sleep at night." 11. You're in Symphonic or Concert Band. 12. You turn down sports and clubs in favor of band. 13. Your parents/directors tell you to quit and you refuse. 14. Any instrument is easily identifiable by its case to you. 15. You can name everyone in band. 16. If someone says "Hey Band," you instantly answer "Hey What?" 17. You need your instrument to live. 18. You think your plume is alive. 19. You know your plume is alive. 20. Your plume has attacked you, like some kind of crow, that may be undead. 21. You've joined our forums. 22. Who are those people that tell me to do homework? ...perhaps, math directors? 23. You received sex ed. on the band bus. 24. You are not ashamed to ride a school bus to a football game, where noone really cares if you're there. 25. Your dreams are all about band.(nightmares too) 26. You write lyrics to your band music. 27. You refuse to listen to music that doesn't include your instrument.(tough for non-percussionists) 28. You can sing a/some/all note(s) in tune without a tuner. 29. Every dent on your instrument has a story. 30. You always tap your foot. 31. You always hum your band music. 32. You do both of the above at the same time. 33. Your CD rack consists of band CD's. 34. You've spent over 24 hours at band before. 35. You judge others based on the size of their water bottles. 36. Your DI is your best friend. 37. You are a DI. 38. You try out for DI. 39. You try out for Drum Major. 40. You make Drum Major. 41. You don't make racial slurs, you make instrumental ones. 42.You've given your instrument a name. 42a. And refer to it by a nickname during band. 42b. As do other people 42c. that are not in band 42d. regularly. 43. You point out key and meter changes when listening to the radio. 44. Reeds taste good. 45. You always have a mouthpiece in your pocket, so it stays warm, and you can practice anytime! 46. You drum on your desk, especially if you're not a percussionist. 47. You're always on time to band. 47a. or even earlier than that. 48. You can/have found your way through the band hall during a power outage. 49. You tell band jokes (how many flutes does it take to screw in a light bulb?) 50. Your director is on your buddy list. 50a. You know their phone number. 50b. and their home address. 50c. by memory. 51. You've played Assassin. 52. You think you're being stalked until you realize that person that you always see everywhere is in band. 53. You stalk other band people to see if they notice. 53a. Especially if you're not playing Assassin. 54. You can walk in tune. 55. You don't think "band life" is an oxymoron, it's just fact. 56. You have no secrets. 57. You make sure noone else has any secrets either. 58. You can fall asleep in the band hall. 58a. During band. 58b. And not be noticed by the director. 59. Letters past G are unimportant. 60. You've learned to speak Latin simply by reading your music. 60a. Fluently. 61.You like to sing/dance your part. 61a. Outside of band. 61b. While air-fingering/or air flagging.=]  62. You don't try to warn freshman of impending horrors, and laugh at their misfortune. 63. You've fallen for "Your plume is on backwards." 64. You can accurately track Mcadow time. 65. You know the names of the other schools' directors. 66. You know where all your past directors now work. 67. You've seen the picture of Jimmy from Dallas. 68. "There's a football team?" 69. Not getting to go to a contest because of a football game pisses you off. 70. You recognize other bands by their uniforms. 71. You recognize the people in those uniforms. 72. You always step off on the left foot. 72a. And it annoys you to see others step off on the right. 72b. And you correct them. 72c. Especially if they're not in band. 73. Our uniforms are the coolest! 74. You try to get advance info about next year's show from the director. 75. You supply advance info about next year's show to the director. 76. You read Tales From Band Camp. 77. You yell "Band Ten-Hut!" and laugh as everyone else goes to attention. 77a. Then realize you did, too. 77b. And laugh harder. 78. Every step you take is a perfect 22 1/2 inches. 78a. And you measured it to be sure. 78b. You even know what that means. 79. You can forge your parent's signature. 80. You can forge your director's signature. 81. You can forge any band member's signature. 82. You go to band camp. 82a. Especially if it's not your own. 82b. Even more so after you graduated. 83. It's hard to get in step with your reflection. 84. You have Instrument-related tan lines(cymbal straps, bell shadows, etc.). 85. The conductor has thrown his baton at you. 85a. More than once 85b. You've thrown it back at him. 85c. Unprovoked. 86. 50% or more of your shirts are white and say band on them. 87. You'd gladly sacrifice yourself to save the form. 88. Your main goal in life is to ram into a BOA judge. 88a. While playing Pop Goes the Weasel. 89. Bleeding Gums Murphy is your saxophone idol. 90. You've lost hearing due to the drumline. 91. You've lost hearing due to "Roger Forte" 92. You've done "The Gilgour" 93. You call your director by a weird nickname or their first name ("Big Mac", "Jimmy") 93a. They don't mind. 94. It would kill you to get a 2 at UIL. 95. You have fallen asleep during aerobics.(yes, thats possible, tyler has done it) 96. You spontaneously say, "SAX-A-MA-PHONE!" 97. Every section has some demeaning name to you. (Bassoon-Big Oboe, Trombone-Overgrown Slide Whistle, Auxiliary-core whore) 98. What else is there to do in college? 99. You can remember the music you've played each year. 99a. and march the drill. 100. You've endured a full season of marching band. 100a. More than once. 100b. And you would do it again. 100c. And you can't wait. 101. You've seen the sun rise during practice. 101a. More than once. 102. You use the terms "rest" and "musical silence" interchangeably. 103. You worry that you don't have a pencil for class. 103a. You steal someone else's. 103b. Daily. 104. You have talked to band members whose name you did not know. 104a. Numerous times 104b. While not on a bus to go to a game/practice/contest.

Lips are puckered, waiting, ready for kissing.

Before I close my eyes and lean in,

I look into his for what seems like forever,

I saw a sparkle, like the stars in the skies.

He was Crying.

I could see it now, but still couldnt help but wonder why.

I asked him and in reply he finally kissed me.
