Well, we at the Technology and the Arts podcast kind of left MySpace behind back when we were having trouble uploading the podcasts here.

But now I am here to say that we are leaving the Technology and the Arts podcast behind...John and I have recorded the hour-long finale...it has been edited...and it will be posted at techarts.wordpress.com later tonight (a bit earlier than the scheduled Dec. 24 air date).

So head on over to the site tomorrow, download the podcast from there or from iTunes, and listen to it as you drive to your holiday destination. The finale is full of outtakes, highlights and other special moments we recorded during the podcast's two-year run.

John and I may be back at some point with another project...and we may even stop by the blog to post a relevant item or even a special podcast. But this is the end of the regular Technology and the Arts podcast.

Thank you to all of our listeners and all of the guests who appeared on the podcast.

Sorry, folks...if you're looking for the most recent Technology and the Arts podcasts, you are going to have to go to our main Web site at http://techarts.wordpress.com and listen to them there.

MySpace is having problems processing the MP3 files I am trying to upload to the music player and I don't know why.

I finally got around to posting the latest podcast (26) on the MySpace site so that is now available in the MySpace Music Player.

However, I have also added my first attempt at redoing the Technology and the Arts theme music for 2008. I'm still playing around with some things, but I just want to know what people think of it. Do you like this direction better than the original theme? Please let us know.

Thanks,
Brian

I'm having problems encoding the lo-fi MP3 version of the latest Technology and the Arts podcast (No. 24 - 12/05/2007), so I'm including the higher-quality version in this blog post as a podcast enclosure.

Well, at least, I think I am...I have never done this before on MySpace. If it doesn't work (EDIT: apparently, it isn't), just go to the Technology and the Arts blog to listen to it.

Thanks...and sorry for any inconvenience.

If you haven't seen it already, there is video on the Technology and the Arts MySpace site of Brian playing organ for his friend Christian Beach, who performed at The Saint in Asbury Park, NJ, on July 13, 2007.

You can go to the site or watch the video here:
