It's been a little quiet at the casa. Just finished mastering the Gebroeders Drap tapes, mixing a beautiful album with my friend Paul (more info soon) and doing new CONE stuff. I hope this summer brings some new clients...we'll see.

Soon to be released:

New album by Paul from Woody & Paul (yet to be named)
Jorn (Dutch melancholica)
Gebroeders Drap
CONE

2008 is over and it was a great year for me and my little studio. I recorded a lot of cool folks and did a lot of work on CONE, my own project. It is really starting to flow down here right now, so that's a dream come true. 2009 has been very busy right from the start. Look out for the debut of Eilander, Koblenz and Gebroeders Drap soon. There's only one problem: I'm running out of fresh cassettes. I hope I'm still here in 2010. We'll see/hear. Blaupunkt out.

I would like to give some attention to a beautiful ep recorded here at the casa. It's Antenna Tony and his Monorail's debut on A Tree In A Field Records. Check it out if you're into old blues, rock n roll and something new. On 7" vinyl only (limited edition).

I decided to put all the covers from the albums I recorded up. It's not complete yet, but it looks kinda cool already.

Working on a beautiful album with singer songwriter Jorn (he sings in Dutch!), Some other guys like Woody & Paul, Tiger Counter Of Drog Orkestar, On A GReen Slope in Dark Water have comfirmed new recording sessions soon and I will be working with a very special outfit called The Dutches. Also some local jazztrio stopped buy and will be back for sure to record some tapes....In the mean time I'm working on CONE and S.T. Cordell. More on that  later.

Also, I need to buy new cables, but that's a good sign...

so, 2007 was a very nice starting year for Casa Cassette. I recorded some very cool music and customers seem to be happy and willing to come back. Thanks for their support!! I even made a little profit and decided to invest it in a new analog recorder, the mighty Tascam 388! I guess you could say that I am a fully operating analog studio now. Still no computers at the Casa, and I like to keep it that way. Thanks to everyone who supported me, Hermann

Howdy Folks,

It's going well in the Casa..recorded two bands already and they both agreed to come back!! Im' leaving for 'nam to chill out for a while with my girl, but when I get back some serious stuff is gonna happen. Dead Elvis and his One Man Grave is gonna record some stuff at Casa Cassette for instance. Some local folk and blues guys will stop by for some sessions and Woody and Paul will be visiting early January. Can't wait! Hermann
