Nella notte di venerdì, all’ospedale Valduce, un male incurabile ha sottratto alla famiglia e agli amici il noto ristoratore Gianni Aldeghi (nel tondo). Aveva 41 anni, lascia la moglie Sabrina e la figlia diciassettenne Alice. Cuoco sopraffino, per i comaschi, era semplicemente "il Gianni del Sociale", dal nome dello storico (aperto dal 1813) albergo ristorante del teatro in via Maestri Cumacini 8 gestito con Corti e Gorno. Un locale da sempre frequentato da infiniti artisti - mille le foto con dediche di ringraziamento esposte sui muri - oltre che da una schiera di affezionatissimi clienti. Tanti anni fa, arrivò al ristorante una telefonata da Roma di tal Vittorio Gassman che voleva prenotare un tavolo: tutti pensarono a uno scherzo fino a quando si videro l’artista in carne e ossa sulla soglia. Il grande mattatore mangiò con gusto al Sociale per una settimana di seguito. Zucchero vi si presentò tardi dopo un concerto a Milano, affamatissimo: amava la cucina del Sociale...
«Aveva sempre un sorriso e una parola per tutti». «Era una persona eccezionale, lo conoscevo da anni e senza neanche sapere il suo cognome: per me era "il Gianni" e mi bastava così...«Era una figura di una rettitudine introvabile: il suo sorriso sapeva allietare anche le giornate più tristi. Così, aveva saputo trasformare quello splendido ristorante in un vero ritrovo di amici...A Como Gianni mancherà tanto». Fra i tanti, tre ricordi commossi, rispettivamente di due amici, Leo Monteleone e Tommy del bar Mariett, e di un affezionato cliente, l’avvocato Giuseppe Sassi.
L’ultimo saluto al Gianni del Sociale domani pomeriggio, alle 15, nella chiesa parrocchiale di Gaggino Faloppio.

It
features studio songs and reworkds in studio of the live tracks played
in year 2000 at the Hinoeuma/Red Rose show with GO and Death Squad,
featuring Mike Dando (Con-Dom), Dave Padbury (The Grey Wolves) and
myself.

The folks at the Quadraro basement are re-mixing and
mastering it but I am 100% satisfied and once again I am glad we waited
so long to release it since the effect is what we wanted.

CD comes in a box with plenty of lay outs.

A limited edition will feature an extra 3", further layouts and pins.

Recorded
and assembled between 1999 and 2009, “Siege” is the audio-documentation
of the activities of cultural terrorist multiple name entity known
since the 80’s as DEATH PACT INTERNATIONAL a monicker worn as a
balaklava by several notorious noisemongers to undermine certanties and
spread chaos through heavy electronics tracks, slogans and art-war.
For
this occasion sounds and words were collected by members of Thee Grey
Wolves, Wertham, Con-Dom with the help of other anonymous collaborators.
Power
electronics / old school industrial not too dissimilar from
compositions of the afore mentioned projects mixing for this occasion
studio tracks along with semi-live tracks reworked in studio empowered
by further sampling and multiple vocal aggression.
Mastered
at the Quadraro basement (Truceklan, Metal Carter, Noyz Narcos,
Wertham, etc.) it was well worth the wait of so many years.
CD comes in box featuring rich artwork and plenty to read.
