The Monroe Center For Performing Art’s  Presents the band ObsidianOz

Oct 18th from 11AM-6 PM In the midst of artists, artisans and vendors catch the music of the new revitalized ObsidianOz band featuring Terry Shook [drum dynamo], Vince Saladino [Velvet thunder bass], Janet Mignon [Jiggy Pop], Heidi Rodney [Sweet mocca rock], Denise Jackson [Soul Diva] and the wiz himself, Oz.

Sharing the stage for the first  time, two of New Yorks most dynamic bands, on the same stage! See the Bobby Kane band also apperaing live! Absolutly awesome!

The summer of 2009 saw the band for the first time out from hiatus with some hot new members that know how to sizzle. Here on the Coney Island boardwalk for the 'Summer of Enlightenment Festival' the band kicks into high gear to a welcoming crowd of surfers, sun bathers and vacationers strolling the famous brooklyn landmark.

We shared the stage with some incredible acts last night at the Summer of Enlightenment Festival to a very appreciative crowd, family, friends and passers-by who stopped to become new fans. What a celebration!
And here's the best news, The ObsidianOz band will be back on Coney Island boardwalk August 15th so you have one more chance to come down and join in the fun.

Looking forward to seeing you there.
