We would like to thank all of you that have been a part of quince for all 15 years.  We would like to thank all of you who have been a part of 15 for any amount of years.  This band would not exist whithout its fans.  Yes it sounds a bit cliche for bands to say that, but it is true.  Las 15 Letras has always loved their fans and respected them very much. Our fans are our friends and as long as we can we will continue to play for you. We are going to try our best to keep making music ( It is true that we have only two albums in 15 years and we are due for a new one).  I think we are going to make it our goal to write new music and have a new album by the end of our 15th anniversary.  Thank you for existing, and thank you for being a part of the small but loving Los Angeles scene.

Recently we uploaded the acoustic version of "TITA".  This idea was suggested by Jose Vergara, who later on went to become our sax player.  At first the idea was thrown around, but never became a reality until one we met at Jose's home studio and began messing around with the idea.  Martin came up with the arpeggio guitar and from that everything else fell into place.

Elisa Dominguez, the voice that you hear in this version, had already been working with Jose in other projects. When she heard the work in progress she loved the version and asked if she could be part of it.  We actually had thought of asking her so it was a perfect agreement.

While Lisa worked on the vocals, Jose worked on the string arrangements.  About a week later both things were recorded.

The harmonies that you hear in the chorus and in the intro were contributed by Steve Briones.  Which became the last piece of the puzzle.

After mixing the song we really didn't have any plans for it.  We played it for a few people and they all suggested that we should try to put it out there.  A few months passed and Al borde began making the "Mexico suena a Los Angeles" Cd.  Through Jorge Leal a copy of the song was passed on to them and after hearing it they asked if they could included it on their CD.

Hope you enjoy it.
