We're proud to announce and welcome our new drummer, Kevin De Leener, to the band.
After playing merely 4 songs on the first audition together we knew immediately that he was the man for the job.
Kevin is a well known musician in Belgium and previously played in several bands such as Suhrim, Fleshmould and more.
Thank you all who sent their applications and showed interest towards Emeth!.

Now, devoid of all the headaches and difficulties of previous members ego's and their personal issues this band has come to embody a refound sense of energy and freedom, and with the addition of Kevin - his talent and enthusiasm - which will allow us to move us forward. This means that this extreme death metal machine is on the roll again. We already got some new shows booked and more are coming. Which couldn't make us happier cause we are dying to get out there again & play for all of you who have had to wait so long on a chance to catch us live! We will replace Disavowed on the Meh Suf! fest in Swiss on 12.09.09 and hope to play plenty belgian and other european stages starting from july 2009.

We'd also like to announce that we have started the songwriting for the follow up record to Telesis. The material for the forthcoming record can at this point best be described as a blend of Insidious style brutality, Reticulated style technicality and Telesis style heaviness.
More info will be revealed in due time.

After a tumultous period we are happy to announce that Emeth has found a new full member bassplayer: David Monein.
It wasn't easy to find someone who could reach the standard set by the highly skilled bassist Erlend Caspersen (Blood Red Throne, The Allseeing I, Deeds of Flesh, Vile, Incinerate,…). David proved to be the right man for the job by playing just as easy and fluently as Erlend did on the last Emeth record Telesis. Soon we'll upload some vids of David playing some nasty Emeth basslines on our youtube channel. Besides the live bass duties David will also take part in the upcoming songwriting process and tudiorecordings.

Emeth announces title new album: TELESIS

The most notorious pack of degenerates from Belgium Emeth, which features in its ranks ex-Aborted guitarist Matty Dupont and Blood Red Throne bassist Erlend Caspersen, has set "Telesis" as the title of its highly anticipated third album, due early 2008 via Brutal Bands. The band recently finished recording their new album at Hertz Studios with the Wieslawscy brother's as producers and is currently mixing eleven tracks for this new effort.

We'd like to introduce our new guitarist; Valéry Bottin (Mystica, In-quest). Val learned all songs swiftly and played the songs perfectly!! But most of all, he's an awesome dude and we're glad to have him as a guitarist and as a friend. He joined us on our recent Canadian tour and proved to us and to the rest of the crowd that he's the perfect guy for the band. Come and check him out at our upcoming shows and you'll be able to hear his skills on our forthcoming album.

Let's get this “Reticulated” baby detailed and you all can get ready to cranck that stereo up and spread some extreme belgian sickness. Excess studio is booked, Emeth will be camping there during december. Like last time we'll be working with engineers Hans Pieters & Dennis Lidelmeier and none other than Producer Daniel Bergstrand (Behemoth, Meshuggah, In Flames,...) After a short break things will be relocated to the Dug-Out studio’s (Sweden) where Daniel Bergstrand will perform his magic behind the mixingconsole. And to round up the goodies the album will be mastered at Cutting Room (Dimmu Borgir, In Flames,...) in Sweden. Artwork and lay-out is again in the mighty hands of Svencho for Dirge Design. The record is slanted for release around march 2006 on the Brutal Bands Label. Stay tuned...
