March 27, 2009 - Friday

If you are looking to get involved in the action on race weekend but
don't want to/ can't run in the events, here are 2 great ways to do it!

1) Sign-up to volunteer at the race weekend events! There are
many activities to choose from, from helping at the Expo, to the Kid's
Run and all of the running events. Gather a group of friends and choose
one time or a couple and stay involved in the Cleveland Marathon, even
if you're not running this year.

Go to our website, www.clevelandmarathon.com, to sign-up!

2) Because the Cleveland Marathon is such a large annual event in
Cleveland, we want to showcase the talent that our city has to offer.
Whether you're a solo horn player or part of a group of percussionists,
have a juggling act, or know how to break dance or tap dance, if you
want to have some fun we would love to have you be a part of this
Cleveland tradition!

Don't worry if you're not a pro, all ages
and amateurs are WELCOME to perform! Please note that no power source
or staging
will be provided by the Marathon. However, if you require a
hard surface of some sort, such an arrangement can potentially be made.

If interested, please contact us at megdsimone@gmail.com or send us a message on MySpace!
