Things with Beauty From Within are starting to get pretty amazing. I am excited to say that I am joining together with some amazing people to only make Beauty From Within better. The guys of Rahfah and I are joining together for the next few months and doing some talks and rumor may have it that I could be playing the shaker...that's only for time to tell.

I am excited to be in the middle of writing a new zine. I want to include people in it that are wearing there Beauty From Within shirts. If you have one, take a picture, and send it to me: beautyfromwithin03@yahoo.com I also want your artwork, poems, designs, anything that represents you!

I will put them in my pictures section as well as (probably) including them inside the zine. Exciting stuff!! If you don't have a shirt and you want one you can order them on the main page when you scroll down.

I am trying to make a mix tape that includes the songs that when you are having a bad day you listen to and it just makes the day better. The song can also be just your FAVORITE song ever or your current, "I just can't stop listening to this song" (Mine at the moment is Jeff Tweedy, "Future Age" and Damien Rice's, "9 Crimes".

Pray that things start coming together!!

I have been overwhelmed with friend requests lately...Thank you to my new friends and the old ones that have supported me through the transition to California and a bit of speaking hiatus with the change.

It looks like I am going to take the summer off from speaking and touring. God has been overwhelming me lately with thoughts of how to make this organization better and I am excited for the what next...the what next might be a book or curriculum. A new ZINE is in the works. It will be done hopefully by July....

Thank you for your help and support. I am still looking for some artists or poets, writers, what have you to add to the new piece that I am putting together. Let me know if there is anything you would like to contribute. I will probaly distrubute it throughout the country personally when I do some speaking. Which is happening!!

I just returned from an event in Chicago that was so good and healthy for the soul. I was asked to possibly come back and do some break out sessions in the winter!! It is really good news.

Also I was introduced to the magazine Alive, which is made by women for young women. It is a good alternative to what is out at the moment, as well as original art work and photographs. It seems like a great opportunity to spread strength of women.

I am overwhelmed by the blessings that are bestowed upon this little project!!

It looks like I will be at Icthus this summer and possibly Cornerstone. I am also trying to find a non-profit lawyer and become a legit non-profit. Things are looking good and I am so happy with where things are going.

Pray that a lot of these entities follow through. God is really amazing.

I did something risky today and went on a limb with my faith. I just need some prayer and some support. I really think this ministry has potential to go farther than I think it should go (emphasis on the I part of this). I think it could and can go places I never thought it could go. Could you just pray that God does something bigger with it then what I am willing to do with it? awesome. much love and thanks. amy

if I need help. A lot of times I don't have the answer becuase I don't know at this moment where i am headed with Beauty From Within. But I WOULD LOVE to hear your ideas. This ministry is really not mine but i want everyone to feel like they are a part of it. I can help put resources together, I can get you the information, I can do the leg work. How do you want to contribute? Each community is diffrent and have diffrent needs. Think what your area needs and let me know. I am sure we can find a way of spreading this truth. lots of love.

The more I think about love and beauty the more I am blown away by the concept of grace. I think it's lovely to know that where ever we are God is right there...he doesn't run away from us or want anything from us other than love. Love for him and love for one another.

.....love is a strange and mysterious thing. Something I don't truely understand but I am blown away by the situation as a whole. Wow....

I plan on going on tour in the fall and speaking on body image. It would be wonderful to see where God will take me....can you help me out in any of the tour?

I am trying to put together a speaking tour of the states that go by Memphis, TN. It should be a lot of fun. I am excited that I will be starting Grad School in January so I can get this more off the ground and really start impacting the lives of people. The Showdown was going to let me speak at their show in Grand Rapids last night which would have been sweet but sometimes sound guys are weird and don't let it happen....it's okay...new friends were made and good conversations were had.
