Alright FINALLY! I am recording my EP in December and it will become available in early '09. So..for you all you hard core fans out there thanks so much for being patient while I get everything together. I am very excited about this project. Adam Nitti is producing it. He is a long time friend and an amazing musician. The EP will have 6 songs including, "Butterfly," "Coffee Shop Girl," and "Seasons."

So...I thought I'd give an explanation for this song. It just posted it on myspace. However, I wrote it nearly 5 years ago. I went to summer camp in 2002 in Chattanooga, TN. It was there I first laid eyes on my future bride, Miriam. I was so smitten with her the whole 10 days. I didn't know what to do with myself. But no more than a few hours after I said my goodbye's to Miriam, I picked up a pen and a napkin (and of course a guitar) and wrote this song for her. So this is Miriam's first song. I recorded it and sent it to her. I shouldn't have. I was breaking some rules when I did this. (sorry J) But anyhow....Miriam has showed the song off since in it's original form which I find unbearable to listen to. So I recorded a newer version last summer. I hope you enjoy it....but try not to drool, drool, drool. (I know it's so bad, but I was head-over-heels! Give me a break!!...I guess it worked, yeah?)

SHE SAID YES!!!!! I'm engaged to my beautiful sweet heart, Miriam! It happened looking over the golden gate bridge on a gorgeous tuesday afternoon. We are so excited for this year. We believe the wedding will be in October and are so happy that God has blessed us with eachother! Thanks for all the prayers I know were being prayed for me! I was nervous! I knew she would said yes...but it was my first time dropping the one knee! Blessings!

Hey everyone. I'm very close to Beijing China in a town called Langfang. I'm here for two months hanging with little kids who don't have normal lives like you and me. They don't watch T.V....they don't go to movies....they don't look at people magazine....and they don't myspace! They are blind AND they are orphans. It's incredible to be here watching them and how they live. They are Amazing little people and they melt my heart over and over. Please, if you pray, pray for these little ones. They are so precious. I will try and update cool stories and such through these next two months. Blessings.......Chris

My Brother's getting married this weekend! I'm so excited for him and my new sister-in-law, Erin! They make a wonderful couple! We are going to party down on Saturday night! And my Sweet Miriam is coming into town to be my date! YEAH!!!

Ni Hao! OK! So like God has changed the direction of the wind in my sails once again! I was so looking forward to heading out to L.A. this fall! But, I have been in Asia for the last month and I've felt God just pulling at my heart to be here. Not in a year...or after school....TODAY! So..I have changed plans. I will be living in China for two months this summer.....and then possibilly movin to Shanghai in January! I am really lookin forward to it! I know it's crazy but I mean...life's suppose to be a little crazy right? and I don't know the out come....I don't have every day planned out....but I know that I feel God's pleasure when I'm with the little orphans in China and He's where I want to be! So...I encourage whoever reads this....if you feel like God's calling you to something...jump on it! Don't wait forever! If you're really following God and in His word....and desiring with all your hear His direction for your life...none of your choices will be between a right or wrong turn...just more like a right or left turn....cause with Him your always going the right way! So....like.....I'm learning Chinese right now and it's SO hard! But....it's SO FUN!! I encourage everyone to try and learn a language! Get out of your own little box and experiance a different culture through speaking a new language! It's awesome! So...what are you waiting for>?
