Hey people, if its not very clear, this is MY music page. If you are trying to post a comment that has a video or music set to auto-play you will be denied.
It's a matter of respect and etiquette, really.
thanks for understanding and helping myspace not turn into a cacophony of overlapping music. aiiight?
thanks + cheers!

So, with the help of J. CODEC, I've been building up a new laptop DJ rig and its just about ready to rock.
With 8 discrete channels, and independent effects, I can roll out one big-ass remix utilizing stems, tunes, accapellas, samples and anything else I can get my hands on. Nothing is safe really.
Did a test run two weeks ago with J. CODEC and now its dialed in pretty well. The Afterhours kids loved it.
Note to producers: If you are not already, before you start a new tune, MAKE STEMS!!!
thanks for watching, - CTRL-S

yes, I saw Journey to the Center of the Earth in RealD 3D. Now, I am not a huge Brendan Fraser fan, but I did not walk out. The RealD stuff took some geting used to, but its pretty fkin amazing to be honest. It was wayyy better than Captain EO back in the day, even without the drugs.
Story wise it was decent, albeit a bit Disney-fied. The Goonies influence was clear, which made it more palatable. No pirate ships or ice cream though.
overall: a fun ride, but not as fun as Batman. RealD is the next shit for sure.

Dark Knight:
While this new film mostly lives up to the hype, it leaves nothing to subtlety. That isn't to say that there weren't some nice buried hints in there, it just had that sense of deliberate "Hey! make sure you notice this coin flip part okay? There's a quiz later.." Indeed, it felt true to the paper-and-ink origins, but was beating me over the head with obvious hints. It was a fun ride, and Ledger's Joker was very well played. As was Harvey Dent. For some reason though I could never get into Christian Bale as Batman. I guess I'm more of a Tim Burton kinda guy as well heheh.
X-Files:I Want To Believe:
I really liked this. I am bummed that its up against the current movies because I think it deserves more attention. It felt like a long-version of a lost episode. The play into Mulder and Scully's relationship was really subtle at first, until the decisive scene. it wasn't an over the top story either which was pretty cool. No Aliens, no bees. Just psychological and paranormal FBI investigatory business. All the acting was on par and felt right to me, but don't forget they are preaching to the converted - being the rabid fan that I am. You hear me? RABID!!! Anyway, I liked it quite a bit and thus, i recommend it - especially if you've got sensory overload by the Bat.

Went and saw this last weekend - I thought it was really well done. Killer art direction as expected while maintaining the campy-ness of the original. PROPER BUSINESS! TWO LIGHTERS UP!

So while back i was telling everyone i had some electro stuff underway. One of those tunes is called "Evolution" which is a 135 bpm electro joint that is still in production. One night I was drunk working on Evolution when my friend Colonius Funk (aka C-FUNK) hit me up to hear a clip. At that moment in time i had a 90 bpm version up in front of me so i bounced a copy to him on the spot. Not more than an hour goes by (or 2 drinks, as it were) and he is sending over this Donna Summer remix with "I Feel Love" vocals over it. Well, I thought it was shit-hot so we got together over it this weekend and made a final version. For all you DJ's out there, this one is 90 BPM so it makes for a great DnB opener :)
More stuff coming soon as!

Hey people, thanks for all the kind words and support. It really means a lot to me. I read everything that comes thru here. It might take awhile for me to respond (if necessary) becuase I'm pretty much busy as fuck all the damn time. Big up to all my fans and supporters Regarding my policy on comments: In general, I will pretty much deny anything that's some huge ass image with a link to your page or site or whatever. Especially if I don't know you. If I added you its becuase it seemed relevant, or you seemed cool, or like-mined (but how much can you really tell on the webernet?). oh also iF yOU tYpE LiKe a rAveR, you're fired. If you really have something to say by all means send away. Funny shit, relevant info, personal notes, or just a "hey what's up guy" is all good. I'm not trying to be a dick, I'm just trying to minimize the "deny" clicks. Thanks for understanding. Thanks for all the support. ctrl-s
