Why hello everyone!! Just
wanted to let you know about our newest sponsor keeping us fit: Gold’s Gym in
Boston! We love them, especially the gym manager Winston;) He hooks us up with
not only a great gym right in downtown Boston across the street from Fenway
Park, but also he cooks for us!! Lol One time we showed up for a workout with
Peter from Foundation Fitness and he had made us an amazing mango chicken dish
that was to die for!! He is always
full of surprises!! If you are ever in town check out Gold’s Gym on Lansdowne
Street! We will most likely be there;)
And for those who don’t
already know, we were recently on our radio tour promoting our new single
“Break Up Song”! It is now available on iTunes and will be released to radio
very soon! On the second week of the radio tour we were in Florida for a few
days promoting the “Break Up Song” and it was so much fun! I personally wasn’t
with the girls on the first day of the tour because I was in Italy celebrating
my brothers wedding with family and friends!! I had so much fun; I can’t wait
to go back! They got married in a friend’s villa looking over the Tuscan
countryside. Truly a fairy tale wedding!
The day I was away the girls
met with WRUF in Gainesville, FL!
Right when I landed back in
the states I was whisked to Orlando, Florida to meet up the girls, our vocal
couch/producer Ric Poulin, and our wonderful radio rep Larry Schuster!!! It was
great because our hotel was literally right in the Orlando airport so I didn’t
have to travel after I landed! Definitely appreciated after traveling for 13
hrs that day! Lol
Our first stop was Daytona
Beach, Florida where we met with Rob and Ammie at WVYB! They were so chill and
fun! We sang a little bit of our new single “Break Up Song” and our fav cover “Oh Darlin” by the
Beatles. They were really happy to meet us and we hope to come back down to
hang with them again soon! Definitely good peopleJ
The next day we drove to
Miami to meet with DJ Mack, Dre, Matt and radio listeners at Y100 for a special
in studio performance! They greeted us with ice cream and espresso drinks,
which was so nice! We were well amped up to perform for them after that snack;)
We had a great time performing for the listeners and were happy to take photos
with everyone after the mini show. THEN we decided that we had to find some
lizards and geckos since we were in Florida lol. We ran outside with Dre, Mack,
and Matt to find some little creatures, but only saw a turtle lol. Hey, we are from New England and any
chance to see a wild lizard we are all over it!!
Then we had to hurry to the
airport to get whisked back to Boston and get ready for the West Coast part of
the tour ;) To be continued…hehe
xoxo

This fall is going to be very exciting for us Jadas! We are proud to announce our next single "Break Up Song" will arrive on radio in a few weeks! The official release date on itunes is this TUESDAY, September 29th!! Breakup Song was written by our friends Wayne Wilkins, Andrew Frampton, and Savan Koetcha (credits include: Britney Spears, Natasha Bedingfield,David Archuleta) and is actually all about being in LOVE and staying together no matter what! We should call it the "Unbreakup song"..hehehe..we really hope you love it as much as we do!!! :)
In anticipation of this splendid occasion, we are hitting the road to promote the single to radio stations nationwide starting this month in Pennsylvania, FLA, and ending on the west coast in CA!!! YAY!
How are all of YOUUU? We just had a blast performing at the South Boston Street Festival this past weekend! Special thanks to our fabulous Street Ninjas who came out to help gain some new jada fans and help us onstage!! :)
Sooo...What have you guys been doing? School? Extra curricular activities? Drop us a line and let us know!! Let's be pen pals: jada@bristolstudios.com. :) One of my hobbies outside of JADA is baking (most of you know!) so I have been baking all kinds of yummy fall baked goods-my favorite being PUMPKIN LOAF! I've also been baking cookies at least once a week--sometimes more....it's scary:) If there's a cool fall food recipe you'd like to share...i'd love to check it out! My new nickname is BAKING NINJA! Hello JADA fans!! We would like to take this opportunity to say that we're so happy and grateful that MXL is now sponsoring us because we've used MXL microphones since the very early days of JADA when producer Joey P. lent us a beautiful MXL mic to record with. We've done so many of our recordings on these microphones and just love how everything sounds on them.
So as our sponsors, MXL recently sent us two fabulous microphones. The first one is specifically intended for stage, radio, and TV broadcasting, and has an extremely warm sound, yet handles close-up performances without a heavy proximity effect. It is the MXL V900 Vintage Condenser Microphone, which can handle high sound pressure which we definitely need due to our high sound pressure vocals (hehe ;).
MXL V900 Vintage Condenser Microphone
The second is the MXL R77 Classic Ribbon Microphone that delivers unbelievably natural sound and stunning realism to vocal and instrument recordings and also has a really old school feel to it that we absolutely love.
MXL R77 Classic Ribbon Microphone http://www.mxlmics.com/products/Studio_mics/R77/R77.html
These mics are already greatly improving the quality of our vocals in recordings with our producer Ric Poulin up in Studio C at Bristol Recording Studios here in Boston. We're having a lot of fun with them...not to mention they look awesome too!
We sincerely thank MXL for sponsoring us because JADA is all about vocals and the MXL Microphones really captures the best of our vocal performances.

Yeaaaaa, Jada's in the house and we're kickin up the heat. What's up party people??? There's a lot goin on over here in Jadaland. "American Cowboy" continues to generate excitement from around the globe. Reports from fans flow in from all corners- seeing our video on Albanian MTV, Australian MTV and other unexpected places and here on MTV Logo last week!!! It's in rotation on Music Choice as well as can be heard at numerous stores such as Express, Wet Seal, etc. and hundreds of gyms across the country are spinning the record and video like crazy!
To kick things off for Fall, we are releasing a brand new single called "Break Up Song" and starting a radio promo tour across the country at the end of September! We're so excited!
"Break up Song" is a chill and really pretty mid-tempo written and produced by the talented team of Andrew Frampton, Wayne Wilkins and Savan Koetcha (Britney Spears, Natasha Beddingfield, David Archeletta, etc.). We love it! By the title it might sound like a sad love song but once you hear it you'll realize it's NOT what you expect- but then again, few things are with Jada! haha.. So definitely keep a look out for the new release!
On another note, you may or may not be aware of our weekly video blogs on Kiwibox.com. If you haven't checked them out, definitely take a look. I have to say, they're pretty funny.....I mean, we are total goofballs 90% of the time soooooo what else would you expect?? haha It's been a lot of fun making the blogs because we get to just act like the bunch of dorks that we are! And Elle's long haired chihuahua "Peanut" has been crashing the shoots and stealing the limelight every week so check out Jada's cutest mascot ever. I have to give shout outs to our amazing video interns that are doing all the shooting and editing and making the blogs look great!- Chris Cuccinato and Peter Gollands. They've put in long hours and jumped through hoops! So thanks guys! You rock :)
Anyway, I need to get back to rehearsal because we are getting ready for our show at the South Boston Street Festival! It's gonna be great to do a show in our home town, since it's been a while! It's on September 19th so make sure you're there! We miss seeing all our amazing fans and can't wait for the show :) Oh yea, and you can get your very own JADA T-shirt at the show, and even get an autographed T! Woohooo! (hehe)
